Scott was teleported back. The storm was gone and the room was normal. Gem and Jimmy both looked at Scott.

“Sorry,” Gem said. “Something wasn't right.”

“That staff changed you,” Jimmy said, worried.

Scott was confused.
‘Did it really change me?’ Scott thought to himself. ‘I was just a tiny bit mad, surely.’

Gem and Jimmy were still looking at Scott.

“I think we need to do more research into that staff.” Gem suggests.

“I told you this would be a bad idea.” Jimmy says to them.

“I didn’t decide to get an evil staff, Jimmy.” Scott says.
Gem looks at him, thinking.

“You must've done something really bad in the past that you can’t remember because that staff is pure evil.” Gem insists, again.

“Gem, I've told you so many times that I haven't. I’m the champion of the good Stag God and my brother was evil not me!” Scott shouts at her.
The wind blew against the windows, snowing again.

“Hey, hey, hey calm down Scott. She’s just a bit…um determined to find out why you have that staff. Yeah?” Jimmy tells Scott again, holding his arm.

The wind became snow. Gem stepped backwards and fell over a piece of glass on the floor but she caught herself before she actually fell. No matter Jimmy's attempts to try to calm Scott down it didn’t work, he was sick of Gem’s stupid questions.

“Scott please, I was just trying to guess why you might have that staff. I wasn’t trying to accuse you of doing something.” Gem says, worried.

The wind and snow didn’t stop, instead it got stronger. Jimmy let go of Scotts arm and stood back. Scott smiled at Gem.

“Gem.” Jimmy whispers and signals her to use her staff again.
This time Gem uses her staff in a different way because she was panicking.

Outside the snow dropped to the floor when the flash appeared. Scott had also fallen over. The room fell silent. Everyone was shocked.

“Gem, what did you do?” Jimmy asked, not knowing what to do or think.

Scott was shocked and confused and Gem was holding her staff tightly, almost hugging it.

“I panicked, I think I used the one where you make them forget something that just happened.” Gem says, “that’s the last one I can use on others I think.”

They both look at Scott.
“Huh?” Scott looks at them both.
“It worked.” Jimmy said.
Scott stands up.

“What..what did I do?” Scott asks.

“I think you tried to hurt me.” Gem tells him.

“I did? Why?” Scott asks.
None of them exactly knew why Scott wanted to hurt Gem.

“I think she was annoying you.” Jimmy says.

Scott looks around still confused. The magic had worked. He didn’t understand why he wanted to hurt Gem.
A loud sound broke the silence. Everyone looked at the door. It was FWhip. Gem's brother and Scott's enemy. Scott’s face dropped. FWhip and Scott both stared at each other. Gem and Jimmy didn’t know what to do.

“Hi FWhip!” Gem says and smiles, welcoming him in.

“Hi Gem and Jimmy...what’s going on in here?” FWhip asks, trying to smile at them both.

Scott crosses his arms and frowns at FWhip. Gems doesn’t know how to answer FWhips question.

“We were just practising magic,” Gem tells FWhip.

“With him!? You know what happened last time when you were trying to practise magic with Scott!” FWhip shouts at Gem.

“Do I even want to know why Jimmy is here?” FWhip sighs and puts his hand on his head.

“I’m here to protect Scott.” Jimmy says.

“Why do you need to protect him?” FWhip shouts.
Gem sighs.

“FWhip sit down.” Gem tells him.
“Where.” FWhip asks, aggressively.

“You can sit next to Scott he won’t kill you!” Gems says. She stands still pointing at where Scott was before changer her mind.

“Actually Scott stand over here.” She points at the floor next to her.

Both Scott and FWhip do what they are told, acting like little children. Jimmy sits down on one of the beds.

“Why are you here anyway FWhip?” Gem asks, walking over towards Jimmy and FWhip.

“I wanted to see if you were ok because there was just really strange fog and snow over here. I didn't want you to get hurt.” FWhip says.

“Awh,” Jimmy smiles at them both.
Scott tries his hardest not to laugh at Jimmy.

“So what is going on here anyway?” FWhip asks, again.

“Ok, it's a really long story but I will try to make it as short as possible.” Gem says.
