I walked up to the door having no idea of how much this day will change my life. Was it just any normal day? I would say so, except for the fact that everyone on Earth fell asleep at the exact same time for exactly two minutes. It started out as a normal morning, I am able to tell you that much, but I can assure you, it ended as something terrifying.

I was babysitting that day, the Harrison's little girl Catie. She was only three but as cute as a button. I was putting her down for her afternoon nap, at the exact time as always, 12: 22, until she brought something up.

"Stephanie, can you tell me about your day, today?" It was the most random question, but yet I could tell that she was curious.

"Well, today, I woke up at around seven o'clock. I left for work at seven fifteen and-"

"Where do you work again?" Catie asked.

"At the Lazy Faire, Catie," she gave me a confused look. "Remember, the diner? I took you there for lunch last week."

"Oh yeah. They have good food." Catie blatantly stated. I went on telling her about my boring day and she finally nodded off to sleep.

I headed downstairs and turned on the t.v. After finally finding a show I'm able to watch without throwing up because they're all so stupid, my phone started ringing. Careful not to wake Catie, I quickly clicked answer without checking the caller ID.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hey honey, it's your dad.

"Oh, hey Dad, what's up?"

I'm just calling in to check up on you."

"Dad, I'm nineteen years old, live in my own apartment, go to a great college, and have a well paying job, I'm pretty sure that I'm doing well," I assured him.

"Well, I'm just making sure. Your mother and I just picked up your brother from the airport and are on our way home just now."

"Oh, how's Ben? Tell him that I miss him!"

"Will do honey. Your brothers fine, he's in the middle of telling us about Afghanistan and the war."

"Then why are you calling me if you're in the middle of a conversation?" I asked.

"Oh, I don't know. Your mother started to worry about him the moment he said the word bomb and I decided to get out of the conversation as quickly as possible. This is going to be one long car ride. I got to go, I think that your mother's annoying your brother so much that he's going to take out his gun. Bye!" My dad said.

"Bye Dad," I quickly hung up the phone. That was probably the most boring conversation I've ever had. I can't really blame my dad for wanting to call someone, though. From the airport to my parents house is at least two hours by car, so it probably is going to be a ling drive home for Dad.

I put my phone in my pocket and got up to get a bag of chips. In the middle of the show, I started to feel a little strange. Maybe it was that one chip that tasted weird I thought. Then, everything went black.

I was standing in a room. But it wasn't the Harrison's living room. I was in a hotel bedroom. A rather expensive hotel room, if I must say. I looked down at myself to find that I was still wearing the same clothes, a sweater and skinny jeans. Except, something was...off. I put my hand down to feel the texture of my shirt, but I couldn't. My hand went right through my body.

My eyes bulged out of there sockets. That was so weird. I took my hand out and tried it again. Same results. What the heck is going on! Still confused, I looked up to see that I was standing in front of a balcony door. Peering through that door I saw two figures standing on the balcony, holding hands.

One figure had brown hair that was extremely curly. He was wearing shorts and a t-shirt, just like I am. The person next to him looks strangely familiar. She has long, wavy blond hair that went past her shoulders. She had on a white, strapless top with a flowery skirt.

I couldn't see their features considering that they were facing the other way, towards the scenery. I tilted my head to see what they were looking at.

I let out a slight sigh at the sight of the immaculate Eiffel Tower on a starry night. It was truly quite a sight. I'd always wanted to go to Paris, but never could afford it. I just had to put up with living in the small town of Osterford, New Hampshire. I had enough money to go to Paris, but it was for college. So instead of going to France, I ended up going to Yale to study acting.

Trying to get a better view, I put my hand on the door handle. Only, just like my body, my hand went right through it. What would happen if I tried to walk towards the door?

Attempting to walk through the door, I was shocked that it actually worked. I walked up next to the couple to get a better view of their faces. What I saw took my breath away.
