" Ma'am, it's getting dark. Shall we leave?" one of her assistants proposed. True, the sun is almost setting down. The presence of the moon could be seen clearly, but that did not stop her from continuing to investigate. She can feel the weird aura, she just could not tell what.

" You leave first. I'll be staying out for the night,"

" You sure? It's going to get real dark soon,"

" At least I am not some coward who would delay anything that's suspicious and probably dangerous," she cynically hissed.

The tall lady was known as the cold-blooded woman with many secrets within herself. Her beautiful figure could describe so. The thin yet serious line of eyebrows and that deep harsh moss green eyes, some people think she is not human.

Well so far it is her best disguise.

She was never asked to be born half-demon.

She's not that warm, but she is not that of an ice queen either.

She's just the detective, Park Ha-rim.

She took the last sip of the herbal tea as the hands point 10 o'clock. Silently, she sneaked out from her homestay nearby the forest with a black cape and boots. She had to make sure no one can actually sense her coming. For her, it was rare to actually be in a night that dark. As she walks deeper till she reaches the forest, the lace that ties the hoodie of her cape was untied. Ha-rim dropped the cape in purpose on the wet ground before dashing in.

The footstep was still there. Still fresh. Ha-rim observes the tree barks around her. There must be something. Her instincts just could not figure out what.

Seconds later, her heart pounded fast and her head throbbed in pain. Ha-rim eventually almost lost it but managed to grab on one of the rough tree barks. She gasped for air. For oxygen. What the hell happened? Ha-rim is about to take a step when she hears something flinch right behind her. She mannequins herself, feeling nothing inside.

One second

Two seconds

Three.

Next thing she knew, she falls to a world of nothing but black walls.

Is it her?

His icy fingertips lightly caresses her jaw to her lips, admiring how beautiful she looks under a shower of the moonlight. Finally, he thought. After almost a wild period looking for her.

As if a rock hit her hard. That's the first thing Ha-rim felt when she wakes up from her faint. She tried, but she could not remember what happened before she passed out that night.

Few minutes after the stars stop spinning, only then Ha-rim realizes something odd.

Where is she right now?

Her instincts become wild as she hears footsteps approaching the room she's in right then. It grew louder, indicates it getting closer. Ha-rim clenched her fists tightly on the duvet, feeling scared and nervous. Who is it that took her that night to this strange room?
