technoblade finds baby fledgling tommy!

bedrock duo fluff!
The days after the full moon were always the hardest for Techno. Years ago, they would have been spent recharging and relaxing, every ache soothed and every lonely moment filled by his packmates, all close and kind.
But Techno, despite being a werewolf, didn’t have a pack anymore. Usually, he was completely fine with that fact. He was a lone wolf. He didn’t need anyone else. He didn’t even want a pack, not after everything.
Still, the rejection stung on nights like these, no matter how much time had passed.
That’s why Techno was taking a late-night walk through the forest. The crisp air and familiar scents soothed his nerves, dulling any frustration until the feelings were easy to tuck away, finally unimportant again.
In a few days, everything would be back to normal. Techno would wake up, do his chores, and go to sleep. His routine was reliable. Comfortable, even. Once he got his instincts back under control, he’d be content again.
But until then, he’d have to suffer through these moonlit hours.
Techno had been walking longer than usual tonight, restless and frustrated. By this point, he was several hours away from his cabin, approaching the borders of the forest. As a result, he dangerously close to the human town that laid at the edge of it. Techno would have usually never dared to get so close to it, especially with his instincts running high, but something about the night air left him restless.
He wasn’t lonely. He had better control over his instincts than that. He just… wanted to see some signs of life. Make sure the town was still there. Listen to a car rumble by. Overhear a conversation.
By this point, he had made it to the human hiking trails, which cut clumsy tracks through the woods. Whoever made them clearly hadn’t been in tune with the forest, picking the most inconvenient shortcuts instead of weaving along the landscape’s natural pathways. Techno huffed. Humans would never make any sense to him.
Suddenly, he heard something scamper through the brush.
At once, Techno was alert, eyes shooting in the direction of the sound. Whatever had made the noise sounded on the smaller side. Maybe a fox, or a stray dog.
Well, it wasn’t like Techno had much else to do. Without any fuss, he left the trail, walking directly towards the sound.
Another bit of movement, this time closer. Whatever that thing was, it was fast. Maybe it’d be fun to hunt. Techno wouldn’t be a wolf for another month, but his human form still offered some extra speed and strength. A good chase would settle the restless part of his brain.
Then, something whined.
Techno froze in place. The sound tugged at something in the back of his brain, sending his heart skyrocketing.
It was at that moment that Techno spotted it.
There was a child hidden in the bush, tiny eyes glowing like a feral animal. A child, shaking either from fear or the cold, curled up to be as small as possible. He flinched backwards as Techno made eye contact, but there was still something fierce in the way he held himself, unblinking and inhuman as he stared the werewolf down.
Techno paused. Then, he made a quick mental list of all the species whose eyes glowed in the dark.
Werewolves, yes, though this child wasn’t acting like one. Most cryptids. Some ghosts. Sphinxes. But none of those options felt right. The kid didn’t smell like any of those creatures. In fact, it was hard to smell him at all over the strange scent of stale blood that seemed to seep from him.
