Chapter 3

We went on a train and it took off. I sat across Ponyboy.

"Hi," he said.

"Hi," I replied back.

"So what's your favorite food?" He asked.

"I'll show you," I said and got a butter stick that Dally gave me. I ripped the wrapper off and stuck the whole butter stick inside my mouth.

Pony made a disgusted look, "so I'm guessing it's butter?"

I nodded my head in response, smiling with butter on my teeth. I finished the whole thing in one gulp.

I heard footsteps and saw our mentor Two-Bit walking into the room.

"Congrats," he said.

"Thanks," Pony replied.

"What's your name?" Two-bit asked Pony.

"Ponyboy Curtis," he answered.

"And you little girl?" He asked me. Wait... I'm a girl? How did I not know? I heard Ponyboy burst out laughing.

"He's not a girl!" He said. Two-Bit burst out laughing too.

"Well anyways what's your name?" He asked.

"Johnny Cade," I replied and took anther butter stick and shoved it in my mouth.

"Butter's my wife," I said with my mouth stuffed.

"Ok, kid look, you can't eat all the butter around here," Two-Bit said.

"Yesh I can," I said in response, slowly eating the butter.

"What is your advice?" Pony asked.

"Stay alive," he replied. I took another butter stick and ate it.

"Is there anything you like besides butter," Two-Bit asked me.

"I love to party," I replied and took a party hat that Dally have me a few days ago. I put it on my head and continued eating butter.

We finally arrived at the capital. Ponboy waved at the people from the window. I went to the window near him and opened it. Everyone was screaming.

"BUTTER," I screamed back, "I LOVE BUTTER AND PARTYING. Two-Bit closed the window.

"BUTTER BUTTER BUTTER," I still was screaming.

"SHUT UP," Two-Bit screamed back. I obeyed and we walked to a very tall building. We went up an elevator.

It felt weird. My tummy was jiggling. I didn't like it. The door opened and everything was shiny. I went and ran on the fuzzy rug and tried making a 'rug' angel. Two-Bit picked me up.

"Kid, stop it, you're acting stupid since I've met you," he said.

"He's always like that," Pony said.

"Slay me," he replied.

"Here, let me show you your room," Effie said and lead me to my room. It was yellow like the color of butter.

"BUTTER," I screamed and tried to eat the bed. Once I jumped onto it I fell asleep.

Anyways sorry for the butter spam, that was originally written on my iPod. I hoped you enjoyed this chapter, wasn't long and I hope not short but who cares anyways.
