Agent Severide

Chapter 14

Unknown Location

"Be nice to each other, see you later" the unsub spoke before leaving the room in a pair of pink scrubs with a tag attached to her pocket that Zoey couldn't quite see. The moment the door shut with everything inside her the blonde managed to move her arm a little causing the other two women's eyes to widen noticing. Come on Zoey, she told herself trying to move her arm towards the IV. With all her force she moved her arm so it fell onto where the IV was hooked into her arm. Zoey took a deep breath before mustering together her energy again to pull the IV out leaving the needle in her arm unhooked. "We're leaving," Severide said to the woman who look absolutely terrified. 

Zoey pushed herself up from her seat only to fall on the floor immediately afterwards with a thud. She groaned as the room spun around her she could hear the women whimpering softly as the agent looked around the room before her eyes fell on a landline phone. Severide army crawled her way over to the table it sat on reaching for the device and knocking it off the table. 

Zoey quickly grabbed the device dialling 911 just to hear the sound of a disconnected dial tone. "No," she whispered in defeat. That's when Zoey could hear footsteps coming back, her heart began racing the same way it had while Jack was choking her out. Zoey managed to crawl her way back to the table sending an apologetic look to the women "I have to put it back, she'll know" Zoey said as the women whispered at her. Once the IV was back in the blonde managed to make it back to her seat as the unsub walked in instantly noticing the things knocked over along with the phone.

The woman turned around holding a pair of sheers, as Zoey's heart continued pounding in her ear over and over. The unsub began pacing the table staring at each of the women, This is how I'm gonna die, dressed as a giant doll fake sipping tea? the unsub stopped in front of Zoey before kneeling down and looking at her. "Don't leave me" was all she said to Zoey who turned her head to look at her. "Let us go" she spoke softly. "I can't" the unsub replied to her stroking her cheek. 

"Samantha? Hi," the voice startled the unsub causing her to turn to find Reid standing there. Please tell me I'm not hallucinating. "My name is Spencer. I'm with the FBI" he said making eye contact with Severide who just looked at him with wide eyes; as the unsub stood up holding the scissors to Zoey's neck. 

"I know what your father did to you, and I want you to know that he can never ever hurt you again," Reid said as the unsub pressed the scissors to her neck lightly causing Zoey's eyes to water. "He never touched me, he's a good father, he loves me," the unsub said looking at Reid. "I know he probably forced you to say those things and punished you when you got them wrong. Sent you to the room with the lightning" Reid told her. "y-yea" the unsub said letting out a shaky breath. 

"The dolls that your father gave you after he hurt you. What happened to them?" Reid asks her. "He kept them in his office with the other toys," she told Reid. "That's where he let you play with them?" Reid says asking the unsub another question. "But when I moved out, I had to take my friends with me. I couldn't leave them behind" she said as the scissors began to shake in her hands. "Yeah, of course. So you went to get them. What did you find?" Reid asks as the unsub stood there trying not to cry. "He gave them to another girl, didn't he?" Reid asks her as she nods sadly. "Do you want them back?" he asks, "He said I couldn't, That they were gone for good." the unsub replies to him. 

"He lied, He's been lying to you for a long time. Do you want to see them?" the young doctor asks her. "Can I?" she asks like a child who had just been offered candy. "Yeah, do you want to play with them?" he asks pulling out a box of dolls as the unsub smiled walking over and picking up the dolls from the box in front of her in awe. 
"Clear, we need medical in here now!" Reid said as everyone rushed into the room. Morgan was the first over to Zoey's side as the blonde tried to push herself back to her feet almost falling. "Come on let's get you checked out," her partner said helping her out of the building where they met the paramedics. 

"You gave us quite the scare," Gabby said helping her best friend on the stretcher, "Please tell me this is real" was all Zoey said as her eyes began to water. "ZOEY? ZOE- SEVERIDE" Gabby called catching the squad lieutenant's attention before he sprinted over. Shock hit him when he saw his little sister. She was so dressed up that she hardly looked like his sister. "I'm here Zoey, I'm here" Kelly said as they loaded her into the Ambo and took off to Med

Chicago Med

Zoey lay in one of the trauma rooms in med after Dr. Halstead had accessed her. Overall she was fine he just wanted to keep her overnight to be sure the medications were flushed from her system. Kelly wouldn't leave her side, "until she practically begged him to get her some caffine which he reluctantly did. "WHAT THE HELL" a familiar voice booms starling the blonde causing her to look in the direction of the doorway to see Jack standing there. "Are you actually dumb enough to blow me off? I gave you 1 day, not 4." Jack seethed as Zoey noticed his behaviour was beginning to draw attention to the room. "Yeah, I thought about your proposal and No" Zoey said as Jack's face went blank for a moment before he laughed. "Your joking right? I can easily leak this video then just do it, Jack. If you really want to come for my job go ahead. Better yet there's my boss now, please go show him the video. But he's gonna ask where it came from, why it looks like I've been drugged. I'm sure that'll work so well for you," Zoey replied completely done with Jack and his shit, especially after what she'd survived. 

Within a second Jack scoffed before lunging at Zoey as he began strangling her with his bare hands.
