Zoey's Townhouse, Bucktown Chicago

The blonde could feel the anger and hurt rising in her after Jack spoke, "You're sorry?" Zoey scoffed at him. "You hit me, Jack! No actually you literally beat me into unconsciousness" her words were harsh as she watch his reaction not sure how he would react to her sudden outburst. Zoey somehow always managed to stay calm through all of Jack's crap, but this she couldn't stay calm she wouldn't. Kelly was right, why was she still dating this loser? why did she tolerate letting him treat her like this?

"Zoey, I'm so sorry" Jack spoke again slowly approaching the blonde before trying to pull her into a hug. Zoey pushed him away not wanting him near her, "No, Jack. I'm not staying this time, We can't go on like this." she spoke walking out of the closet and the bedroom and walking down the stairs. Zoey could hear Jack's footsteps following close behind her as she walked down the stairs when Jack yanked her arm forcing her to a harsh top. "You can't leave me, After everything I did for you? All the months I helped you after Shay died when your brother wasn't there" Jack spoke trying to stay calm as he got closer to her face as he spoke. "Let me go, I'm DONE JACK. THIS IS OVER" Zoey snapped at him yanking her arm out of his hold before turning to walk down the stairs.

With one motion Jack lifted his foot pressing it into the blonde's back sending her tumbling down the stairs with numerous thuds. Zoey lay at the bottom of the stairs winded and groaning from the fall not entirely sure how many steps her face got introduced to on her fall. The blonde went to stand up when Jack came over hovering over top of her kneeling down to get closer to her. "You can't break up with me," he said with a creepy smile as he pulled his phone out laughing at something on screen she couldn't see.

Within a millisecond Jack had Zoey pinned to the floor by her throat showing her the phone. "You try to leave me or say a damn word about this. And I post this everywhere, how do you think the FBI would feel seeing one of their own agents doing drugs?" he spoke as the video played Zoey could see herself stumbling around clearly drunk before she began rolling around on the ground laughing her ass off before passing out in the middle of a crowd.

The strange part was she had no memory of when the video was taken but it didn't matter because she knew Jack was right. She could potentially lose her job over a video like that getting out. "I own you Zoey Severide" Jack seethed in her ear slamming her head back by her neck.

Suddenly a knock on the door sounded through the small room causing both of them to look. Jack pressed down harder before letting go of the blonde who sat up coughing once the air had returned to her lungs. Jack walked over and pulled the front door open to reveal none other than Kelly who just pushed past Jack and walked in as Zoey was scrambling to her feet and cleared her throat.

She looked like she was about to cry, "You okay?" her brother asks suspiciously earning a silent nod. "Yea, I'm all good. You ready to go get coffee?" She replies like a switch putting on a smile and letting out a light laugh before she turned to grab her phone and keys off the floor. "I'll see you later Babe," Jack said with a smile that made Zoey terrified. "Yea," she replied with a fake smile before walking past both Kelly and Jack straight out of the house climbing into Kelly's car ignoring the pain surging through her body.

Her brother climbed into his classic mustang starting it up before the two drove off in silence. Kelly could tell something was off but he also didn't wanna push her to talk usually when she was ready she would tell him what was going on.

Connie's Diner, Central Chicago

The Mustang pulled up to the Severide sibling's favourite diner and the two made their way inside sitting down at their usual booth. Kelly and Zoey had been coming to this place since they were teenagers. "So how are things with you and Jack? Seemed a little tense when I got there" Kelly says looking over the menu before glancing at his sister. "Yea, everything's Fine, just got into a stupid argument," Zoey replies shrugging off the conversation.

That's when Kelly noticed her neck and the new bruises starting to form all around her throat. Concern washed over his face which caught Zoey's attention, "What the hell happened to your throat?" her brother asks trying to keep his voice calm. Kelly knew for a fact those weren't there when he saw Zoey last night at Molly's. "Nothing I um just tripped down the stairs." the blonde replied clearly lying to him.

Anger started to rise in Kelly, "Did Jack do that?" Kelly asks staring at Zoey trying his hardest to keep calm even though he could see what was going on and he didn't like it. His sister scoffed laughing awkwardly and rolled her eyes. "What?! No. Like I said I tripped down the stairs. Now can you just drop the topic please" Zoey snapped at him wishing she could just tell him what happened but, she couldn't.

Kelly would probably beat the crap out of Jack, not like he didn't want to already but this would quite literally make that a reality. Jack would post the video and she would ultimately lose everything including her job, her house, and her career. Jack had her boxed in exactly where he wanted Zoey and she didn't know what to do.

The Severide siblings ate breakfast in awkward silence before the blonde's phone began ringing. 'Morgan' the name read on the screen causing Zoey to answer the call straight away. "SSA Severide," she said on the line. "Hey, Hotch needs you back we have a case," Morgan said over the phone. Saved by the bell, the blonde thought to herself. "Alright well, I gotta stop at home and grab my bag but I'll be on the next flight back," Zoey said. "How's Chicago?" Morgan asks, "Same old windy city," she replied through the line. "Alight well I'll see you soon," Zoey said before hanging up the phone.

The blonde set some cash on the table as Kelly stood up. "Here I'll give you a lift home and to the airport," Kelly offers wanting to try to figure out what the hell is going on with his little sister. "Sure," Zoey replies surprisingly agreeing to her brother's request.

The two siblings stood up walked out of the diner and over to Kelly's classic mustang hopping in before taking off towards Zoey's place.
