Chapter 8 🐺

All Izuku can hear at the moment is his heart beating heavily in his ears.

As he stares at the the Prince before him with dressed in black with eyes that imprinted on him days ago he's stunned into silence.

He swallows hard watching the handsome blonde take another slight step forward as he extends the leather gloved covered hand with the scarlet rose.

The greenett reaches out slowly, unsure, a shakey hand taking the perfect flower as green eyes remain locked onto crimson ones that are looking at him so deeply it feels more like they are looking through him.

Neither one is saying anything both just taking in the eyes of the other. Katsuki's is watching with his own heart running rampt in his chest waiting, watching for shock to be replaced by realization.

When Izuku finally trys to speak again he stops as words spoken from his bestfriend start to play in his head.

" Not everyone is in love with Prince Katsuki Bakugo "

" He's some pure bloodline alpha who can transform into the thing itself"

" Prowls the woods looking for omega's "

A hit of fear suddenly rushes over the greenett making him take a few steps back, eyes wider with unsure panic.

Katsuki sees it, he smells it too. The sweet smelling omega is now giving off a soured peppermint scent that holds traces of his distress.

The alpha in him immediately starts to growl uneasy there's a whine in his throat trying to push through, he reaches out for the omega that he knows is about to take off.

" Oi, wait. Izuku, slow down. Just wait a ..."

The greenett shakes his head continuing to back up.

" I ..I'm sorry..I have to go. It's late and ...and ....."

Katsuki interrupts him

" And you're scared." , he says eyes burning a hole into the other a crash of ache in his chest seeing what he hoped he wouldn't in emerald eyes.

There's tears in Izuku's eyes and he's not even sure why. He can feel the alpha's hurt somehow and it's mixing with his own confusion and fear causing a rush if twisted emotions.

His omega let's out a small distressed whimper that makes him slap his hand over his mouth and turn to run but as he does the blonde alpha does something he's never done.

He uses his alpha voice. One that's used to halt an omega into submission. He always said it's something he'd never do unless it was absolutely necessary and right now it feels absolutely necessary.

" OMEGA, STOP"

The voice is strong, deep, commanding and so powerful it stops a fearful omega in his tracks almost dropping him to his knees where he stands without a choice.

Izuku's inner omega whimpers at the voice that also sparks desire and now he's more confused then ever as he stands locked in place hearing the blonde alpha step right up behind him and begin to speak.

" I'm sorry, I really am, but it's the only fucking way I could get you to stop and listen a minute. I know you're scared, I see it, feel it, smell it and I hate it. I'm not going to hurt you, that's the exact opposite of what I want. I want to get to know you omega, at least give me a chance to talk to you, but not here, someplace else, I'll even let you chose the spot. Think about it Izuku, if I was going to hurt you I would have done it already, I had the chance more than once, I know you know exactly what I'm fucking talking about"
