Chapter 50 🐺

The wedding reception is in full swing. There's a group of musicians playing lively music to dance to as kingdom people gather in the large lavish ballroom of the palace to celebrate the union of the new happy couple.

There are several food tables set up filled to the brim with the finest feast from the castle chefs as crystal glasses full of wine and water flow freely.

The large room is fully decorated with red and white roses and silken tapestries in the same colors adoring almost everything.

All of it took days to set up, castle staff spent hours painstakingly making sure every detail was perfect and breathtaking for today.

As gorgeous as everything may be, in the blood red eyes of a dark alpha prince, nothing is as captivating as his pretty green eyed omega who he can't take his eyes off as they dance.

" You look so damn amazing today Izuku. God damn I'm a lucky alpha.", he smiles learning down for a kiss.

Izuku blushes at his husband's compliment while he leans up granting the kiss his mate is after.

When they part only slightly the pretty omega smiles with happiness.

" Thank you Kacchan but it's me who's lucky. I still can't believe all this is real but I'm so happy it is. Today is absolutely amazing."

The prince smiles pulling his mate closer into his arms as they move across the dance floor.

" Well believe it, my mating mark on your neck and my ring on your finger says this is all real as fuck. Izuku Bakugo, you are officially mine for the rest of your life, bonded to me and married to me, theres no turning back now", he grins

There's a happy purr that escapes Izuku, one he doesn't even try to stop as he hugs his alpha who leans in with a croone and a kiss to perfect locks.

Across the room Mitsuki watches her wayward son hug and dance with his mate with an expression on his features she's never seen, one that says everything. Katsuki is fully, completely, greatly in love and the look on the pretty features of Izuku says he feels exactly the same way.

She's smiles with contentment of her own, knowing that her boy is finally settled and happy with a mate that she too has grown to love and adore. Today had truly turned out to be a beautiful day.

Her thoughts on the happy couple are broken when a Queen from a neighboring Kingdom sits beside her.

" Mitsuki, congratulations on Katsuki's marriage. He looks extremely handsome, I'm sure you're proud.", she smiles.

Mitsuki nods with a happy smile herself.

" Thank you. Yes, we are extremely proud and happy for them both."

Queen Leah's smile turns into more of a condescending smirk as she leans into Mitsuki and begins to whisper.

" Well, as happy as you can be considering the circumstances."

Mitsuki lifts a brow at this, unsure what exactly that means.

" I'm sorry? What circumstances?", she questions in confusion.

Queen Leah snickers with an eye roll.

" Oh come on now Mitsuki, you don't need to pretend with me. I can only imagine the immense disappointment you and King Masaru must be feeling.", she says that snobbish look upon her features again.

Mitsuki shifts in her seat still unsure what this woman before her is referring to but she can already tell it's nothing good because there isn't anything Mitsuki is disappointed in.
