Chapter 9 🐺

Katsuki almost can't believe what he just heard. He thought for sure the greenett in his presence wouldn't be willing to hear much of what he had to say once he knew he heard the dark rumors about him from towns people who had no idea who he really was.

But as he sits here now taking in the omega's calming scent that was released just for him he thinks there might be a chance still.

He clears his throat giving the greenett his signature smirk.

" I'm happy to hear that. You have no fucking idea. I'm sure you've heard some shit about me huh? Big bad wolf who hunts down helpless omega's ?"

The greenett schunches his face remembering the words told to him.

" Well.. kind of. I was told that you.. you can turn into a pure blood alpha and .. and yes that you prowl around at night hunting omega's", he says hating hearing his own words when he sees the look on the blonde face.

The prince sighs eyes shifts across the water again.

" Alright, well let's get a couple things straight here. Obviously you have probably figured out that that yeah, I have an alpha form so yes that parts true. I can shift into that, but and this is the most fucking important part, I do not hunt down omega's, or anything else for that fucking matter, that's all bullshit legend of bored old ladies or jealous alpha's who have heard what I can shift into."

Izuku nods listening.

" But..um... why.. why would they think that of you? Like what makes them think you'd do that?", Izuku ask curiously.

Katsuki eyes him, that smirk is back.

" You must not know much about me huh?"

Izuku shakes his head no a bit sheepish thinking he probably should know more about the prince.

" Honestly, n-no and I'm sorry if that disappoints you"

Katsuki chuckles.

" Well, I wouldn't mind you knowing all the good shit about me, after all I am an alpha trying to impress a certain omega", he says with a wink making the greenett blush.

" And to answer your question I don't really know. Truth is most is pure speculation that I can even shift into a pure alpha. No one has ever seen me do it outside of my family and a couple extras I call friends. But.. I'll admit that I have a bad temper, I always have, that's not a secret or even something I try to hide, I can be sort fused and get pissed off pretty quick, people have seen that side of me, so I guess they assume since I'm like that that if I can transform into the thing I must be one nasty big bad wolf, and since I don't have an omega that just adds to the speculation I guess"

He laughs suddenly the sound making Izuku smile.

" And after the way I talked to most of them last night, I'm sure I just added fule to the fire", he grins.

Izuku raises a brow with a confused head tilt.

" But... but you were so charming and ... well.. sweet to me last night, I don't understand.. what did you say to them?"

Katsuki can't help it, he really can't, oh he should, but he can't.

He breaks into a laugh that echoes off the forest bouncing in the omega's ears making him want to giggle before he even knows the story.

The blonde shakes his head in amazement as his drunken words to piss off his mother come back to his mind.

He meets the emerald gaze on him who's trying to hide his own laughter.

" Ah shit, trust me, you don't want to know, might chase you off again and I don't want that. And hell yeah I was that way with you"

Izuku smiles.
