Chapter 27 🐺

Firelight dances on jet back wolf fur as Katsuki sleeps soundly in front of the fireplace still in his pure alpha form. Izuku is resting against him comfortablely so that he stays warm on a night that the cold seems to be even more brutal.

Large soft wolf ears twitch ever so slightly even in his sleep, the protective alpha always on alert in some way.

The wind blows hard against the small cottage making the outside wooden shudders creak while heavy snow falls building up quickly on the ground.

Katsuki stirs just slightly, one crimson red wolf eye opening only part way seeing dancing flames in a warm fire. He sighs with contentment hearing the storm roaring outside but knowing that he and his future mate are tucked away warm and dry.

He slowly drifts back off for maybe an hour until there's a sound in the room that wasn't before.

A tired mind tries to figure out what he's hearing as wolf ears twitch. But as soon as the strong, powerful, overwhelming scent of warm peppermint hits his nose he knows exactly what that noise is.

Crimson eyes snap open, his heart hammering in a strong wolf chest. His nostrils flare, blood red eyes wide.

He shifts his head quickly seeing his out of it omega thrashing around in his sleep. Izuku is whimpering, crying, covered in sweat, he's panting softly and it only takes a minute for Katsuki to see the greenett's cotton pajama pants are wet with slick.

And now he knows for sure. His pretty omega is in heat.

The alpha in him growls. The feeling of his own rut stating to slam into him.

' Shit!! Fuck, fuck, fuck! Calm down you black beast! Your not doing shit until he lets us know it's ok. So calm the fuck down you horny bastard!'

Katsuki himself begins to pant and he knows he has to shift back so he can figure out this rapidly changing situation.

He shifts out of form, wrapping a blanket around his waist tightly as he covers his nose trying to keep some of Izuku's scent from pushing him into full rut. But it's so damn difficult he thinks because the omega's scent is so strong and sweet that it's making him drool.

He's an alpha, been in rut before, smelled omega's in heat before, but he's never been affected like this, not this strong. He himself is sweating already, his eyes beginning to dilate and he knows it's only a matter of time before his rut wins and he loses himself quickly.

A large shaky hand reaches for the panting almost incoherent omega who lies in the nest he made them clinging to the blondes cape.

" Deku. Hey.. wake up. You're.. you're in heat omega"

Green eyes snap open and take in the wide crimson ones staring back at him. He feels flushed, and overheated, and his desire for this shirtless gorgeous alpha is so strong it makes him whimper loudly.

" Alpha.. I.. I.. need you"

Katsuki begins to shake at the words, the words that wake up every alpha instinct he has. He and Izuku hadn't discussed what they would do for his heat. Something he's wishing they had thought to do. Some alpha's stay with their omega and help them through it rather it's through sex or just being there for support. Other omega's prefer the alpha to leave so they can cope on their own. He isn't even sure this panting greenett is in the right state of mind to make the right decision because heat is ment to be used for mating and in this moment that's all Izuku wants from his alpha and this alpha is allll to willing to give it , but he'll fight his instincts as long as he can till he finds out what the omega wants.
