Chapter 59 🐺

A cool autumn breeze blows as Izuku walks with his white wolf by the stream behind the beautiful home he shares with his mate.

He's well into his pregnancy now in fact his twin pups are due any day, after a healthy pregnancy thankfully, with no complications. Katsuki has been staying close to home, asking Aizawa run through his training right on the grounds of his own home so he can be there when the time comes for the birth.

A very protective alpha had even made his mate stop working weeks ago, worried that the greenett was on his feet too much and getting worn down since Izuku's clinic was the busiest in the kingdom.

Ever since the kidnapping Katsuki, who was always protective became even more so, making sure guards stayed right by the his mate's shop, and always being sure he knew where his husband would be so that he himself could remain close by.

The happy omega had spent the morning fixing up what will be the pups room, making sure the cribs has clean bedding that was scented by both parents. He also spent time setting up all the gifts the couple had received. The cheerful room was full of handcrafted toys and stuffed animals, it also held wardrobes full of new clothing in every size the growing pups would need, mostly all personally bought by the queen herself.

He closes his emerald eyes with a smile on his soft features while he takes in a deep breath of cool clean fall air feeling the warmth of the sun on his freckles when he stops to let his pet take a drink from the stream.

As he's lost in the moment when a strong pair of arms engulf him from behind with a scent and a voice he would know anywhere.

" There you are. I was in the house looking for you. Always kinda scares the shit outta me now when I can't find you after what happened.", Katsuki says leaning down to kiss green curls while he hands his mate a single red rose.

Izuku grins turning around in his alphas hold to give him a tight hug.

" Hi Kacchan! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to frighten you. I thought you were out front training with Aizawa so I took Shenah out for a walk. It's so nice out. And all of that stuff is behind us now, my alpha has made sure that I'm safe and sound.", he purrs.

Katsuki looks down with a nod and a smile of pride at his omega.

" I was training but I came in to make sure you ate lunch and to be sure you weren't over doing anything. And I know but I still get anxious as fuck over it. That was the worst day of my life. I feel sick every time I think about it.", the wolf prince says holding his mate closer as if the memory of that day might take him away again.

Izuku purrs softly making sure to scent his troubled alpha.

" Shh I know Kacchan. It was horrible and scary but that's all in the past now and you always make sure I'm safe and that our pups will be too. You're an amazing alpha and husband, so please calm down."

The blonde swells with pride crooning loudly as he pulls back enough to see Izuku's belly.

He grins as he runs his hand over a large pup bump.

" I always will too. Speaking our pups, you look ready to pop any minute. Damn those little shits are growing like crazy!", he beams with happiness in crimson eyes.

Izuku laughs with a sigh as he puts his hand on his back and stretches it.

" You're telling me. I think there's four feet in my spine right now and they kick all the time now. Last night I thought they actually might be fighting in there!", he grins.

Katsuki raises a brow, then drops down so he's eye level with his mate's pup bump, speaking closely too it.

" Oi, listen up you little shits of mine. You take it easy on mama, got it? Don't make me come in there."
