After a few more days of letting himself and his pet heal Izuku agreed with his alpha that they go back to his cottage for a day or so to retrieve some things the greenett wanted from his home.

They had set off on Katsuki's black horse right after breakfast and were riding comfortably through the forest.

Izuku leans back into the warmth and comfort of his alpha as they ride, softly purring with contentment. The days are starting to get warmer since spring is on the way and today is sunny and pleasant making me enjoy the ride back to his cottage.

Katsuki glances down at him seeing the omega with his eyes closed, face titled to the sun, enjoying the morning. He can't help the smile that curves onto his features. He leans down and croons lightly getting a pretty sounding purr in return. The sound lights him up on the inside and this is when he knows that he's never been this happy because this simple gesture just made his morning completely.

He chuckles slightly, large arms tighten around the smaller male in front of him.

" Happy omega?"

Izuku smiles brightly turning his head so he can see the prince seated behind him.

" I am. Very much so. My hands are finally mostly healed, Shenah is feeling much better, it's warmer than it has been in months and I have you. So yes, very happy.", he's says with a smile that says every word spoken is true.

The blonde's inner alpha swells with pride, knowing his omega is safe, healing, and happy to be his. He releases a heavy dose of his scent for the greenett.

The warm, woodsy, smokey scent hits Izuku hard making him go slightly lightheaded. He purrs loudly while shaking his head slightly to try and get the spinning sensation to clear.

Katsuki raises a brow watching with a croon in his tone.

" You ok?", he questions with concern.

Izuku looks up at him, his face slightly flush.

" Oh um, yes..it's just your scent just now, it .. it was so strong. I mean it always is really but this time it was even more so."

Katsuki furrows his brow in thought, then he remembers his rut is close but it should still be a few days off.

" Oh uh. I'm sorry omega.".

Izuku laughs softly with a blush.

" Don't be sorry Kacchan. It's not a bad thing. I really like your scent it's umm, very attractive to me."

That dark beast in him wolfishly smirks.

' Calm down you shit.'

The blonde grins.

" Just what I wanted to hear."

They ride on a little longer, talking enjoying their time in the warm morning air. Soon a small cottage comes into view.

Katsuki jumps down first always helping his omega to his feet. He gives him a gentle kiss

" You go on in and take your spoiled shit with you and make sure she's ok after the trip here. I'm going to take care of the horse and grab some firewood before I head inside."

Izuku smiles brightly.

" Ok Kacchan, sounds good."

The greenett makes his way into his small home with his pet right next to him. He looks her over carefully making sure she shows no sign of pain and when she doesn't, he gets her a bowl of water and a bone to chew on while he straightens up his cottage since he hasn't been there in a week or so.
