after finn and y/n ate and paid the two rushed back up to their hotel room. once they got to their room's hallway, they exchanged a knowing look before shoving and pushing each other trying to get to the room first. the unspoken race might've disturbed their room "neighbors", but no one confronted the two. what made this race even more fun for the two was that their room was at the very end of the hall.

y/n slapped her hand against the door before letting out a confident, "beat you!"

finn rolled his eyes, "you know i'm the one with the room key, right?" finn chuckled at the girl before placing one of his hands on her waist and moved her aside so he could unlock the door.

y/n didn't react on the outside, but her insides felt like they were melting. she felt warm, fuzzy, and all the other cliche terms to describe that flustered feeling.

once the two got inside finn crashed back onto his bed while y/n sat criss-crossed next to him.

"so, are we goin anywhere today or just playing animal crossing with ... y/n's whores," y/n asked laughing towards the end. once her laugh was out she turned her head down to look at finn laying on the bed, "you chose an amazing name for the group chat finn."

"i know right, the name is absolute god tier," finn let out proudly. "anyway, i was thinkin we could play with them for a little and then go to this fair they have in town? it's some sort of valentines day fair."

"hell yeah that sounds so fun!"

finn and y/n both had their nintendo switches out as everyone started joining y/n's island. their reasoning was that the group had already seen eachothers and wanted to see something new like y/n's island.

"so we're gonna get on facetime with everyone else and just go from there, i think thats the only logical thing to do here," finn explained.

"yes understood understood, question. are they gonna destroy my island?"

"i wouldn't recommend adding them to your best friends list for that reason but, it's up to you," finn warned half sarcastically. y/n nodded her head in understanding and watched as finn put his phone on his dresser in front of the two before joining the group facetime.

sofia: hi y/n! not finn, finn gets no rights.

jaeden: your island is so pretty whattt.

sadie: very subtly and somewhat unconsciously dancing and mouthing lyrics to a song.

wyatt: go off sadie.

sadie: .. was i dancing? HAHA I WAS MOUTHING WHY DIDNT YOU STOP ME BY MITSKI

y/n: slay honestly. do you guys see the museum area. it's not pretty.

finn: (whispering to y/n) you're pretty though.

y/n: ayo?

iris: HM WHAT WAS THAT? I HEARD SOMETHING.

finn: youre gaslighting everyone iris

caleb: weird

sophia: theyre in love guys chill this is normal.

sofia: i muted for a sec what'd i miss.

finn: everyone going nuts because i breathed

iris: he called y/n pretty. as he should though

y/n: anyway so who wants to get hit with my pink star net.

y/n: (looking at finn) why would i ever do that. (she whacks finn with the net)

sadie: theyre flirting guys

finn: (flipping off the camera) fuck y'all.

y/n: okayy he's a baddie i guess.

iris: didn't you guys go on a date this morning.

wyatt: IRIS

jaeden: iris youre wrong for that

finn: i don't know what you're talking about

wyatt: anyway

iris: do not anyway this they literally are denying the truth

sadie: exactly

jaeden: i agree with sadie here.

y/n: do you guys wanna see my villagers houses?

sofia: distracting from the point but YES

caleb: you have judy? i love her.

y/n: i know i love her too! she's so cute.

finn: (whispering to y/n) oh come on, you've gotta be setting me up at this point. you're so cute.

sophia: oh?
