Had to change some of their playing pieces because ya'll wildly misinterpreted it. 🙄

Friday, November 17th.

"So, tomorrow, is the last day of school before Thanksgiving break, what should we do?" Vance asked the group. With Donna now there due to Finney's invite.

"Hmmm, Billy..." Griffin eyebrows furrowed.

"Yeah?" He looked at him curiously.

"You said that we would all do something, as a group. When you were watching that horror movie."

He smiled a little and looked down.

"I did say that, didn't I?"

"Yeah!"

"You also said that your family liked 'sour & salty food.'" Donna pointed out, remembering the "Sweet Bread Incident" with Pinball Vance.

"What are you suggesting, Donna?"

"I don't know, maybe we could do something at your house."

"Don't you have a lot of family visiting though?" Finney asked, remembering what she said at church.

"They don't get here until next week. We could do something on Saturday or even Friday."

"At my house?"

"Mhm."

He thought about it for a moment.

"What would we even do? It's too chilly to play outside."

"Uh, play spin the bottle?" Vance suggested. Everyone turned to look at him in suspicion.

"Some of us are Christian, Vance," Finney said, annoyed.

"So? What happens in our room, stays in-"

"Stay in the room. Yeah, yeah. We got the point when you ate all the Pan Dulce." Everyone else laughed with him.

"What's Pan Dulce?"

"Uh, it's a Spanish pastry. One that Pinball Vance is obsessed with." Showalter teased.

"If that leaves this table, you're dead, Showalter."

"Right," he didn't seem to believe it.

"But back on topic, Billy's right. What would we even do?" Donna asked.

"Do you have any board games, by chance?" Bruce asked, being one to like playing games like Monopoly himself.

"I actually do, would you guys like to do that? And eat lunch together, I guess?" He asked that while primarily looking at Vance.

"Why are you staring at me?"

"Because I wanna see if you wanna play anything else besides Pinball."

His expression darkened, "Fine, only if it's a competitive game, though."

"Great, I have Monopoly!"

Bruce groaned, he was pretty bad at it. And it was just gonna go worse if Vance was gonna play it too.

"Can't wait to beat you at it, Bill," Robin smirked.

"In your dreams, Rob," he scoffed in response.

"So, what about Saturday this week?" Finney asked.

Everyone else nodded in agreement.

He thought of a good time for all of them to play and have lunch at his house. While being home early enough for him to finish his job as a paperboy.
