"Ah! You must be Robin." Samuel opened the door to find his son's boyfriend lacking his gray bandana and in a brown plaid shirt. He opened the door and shook his hand once he came in.

"Yes, I am, you're Samuel, right?"

"That would be me. It's too bad the first time you met me was when I was having an ugly moment."

"Nonsense, any parent that's willing to fight for them that immensely deserves my respect. That's how us Latinos work."

He laughed while he showed him to the table. Robin sat next to Billy, in an orange and white plaid shirt. Their mother was at the opposite head of the table from Samuel. She was indeed blonde like he said with pin-straight hair. And with blue eyes.

R: That's really ironic.

His brother, Aaron, was right across from them. His brother, Aaron, was right across from them. He had very dark hair, even darker than Billy's. Which was a golden brown more like their mom. His soft face and big, hazel eyes made him look younger than his younger brother.  On the table, there were cups and some kind of braided bread that made Robin excited to eat them.

"Hello, Robin, this is Billy's older brother, Aaron, and you can call me Maria."

"The one allergic to strawberries?" Robin asked without thinking. Billy looked at him wide-eyed and hit him on the arm. But also trying not to laugh as he remembered the story he told them.

"Yeah, I am allergic to strawberries. I don't like the color pink either."

"Why? Because it makes your nose flare up?" Robin joked around. Sensing that Aaron was playing along.

"Rob!"

"Billy, it's fine. He's just messin' with him." Maria said, putting her hand on top of her son's.

"He's been nervous for days now," Samuel whispered.

"I would guess he is. I mean it's not like we met on exactly polite terms."

"Oh, don't even. You defended our son's dignity. He's not exactly a fighter like you. He just chooses to ignore it because he hates being the center of attention." Maria reassured him.

"Exactly, I like you because well, not to be weird, but you remind me of myself. When I was younger. I got into detention all the time and had behavioral issues. And excuse my French but I hate taking people's bullshit."

"Dad! We have a guest over." Aaron exclaimed, mouth wide open.

The other three tried not to laugh.

"Oh c'mon it's Robin. He probably hears it all the time in his home."

"I guess you could say that, I only live with my uncle. And Latino parents in general are strict on that kind of language. So I'm technically not allowed to even cuss, at least in his presence."

"You don't have any siblings?"

Robin shook his head, while tearing off a piece of the bread. "No, my mom died in childbirth. But I do have a lot of cousins though. Allen's like a bachelor or something. I forgot the specific term."

"Confirmed bachelor?" Aaron asked.

"Yeah, that's it. He chooses to stay single. But I tend to go out because he's always at work."

"You don't like being home alone?" Aaron asked, being surprised, being anti-social himself.

"No, it's too boring for me. I like being with people, you know?"

Samuel cringed a little.

"That might be awkward for your relationship. Both of my boys are introverts."
