3.
I wake up with surprisingly no headache, I get out of bed and make myself a cup of tea. I grab my phone from out of my clutch and scroll through twitter. After checking various social media sites, I jump in the shower and get ready for the day. After getting dressed, doing my hair and make up, I decide to go out to Ikea to get a few things for the apartment.
I throw the things I need into a handbag and leave the apartment. I decide to leave Amy in bed purely because she'd probably shout at me for waking her up at this time, although it is 12 o'clock. I lock the door again and decide to take the stairs today. I hop in my car and make my way into town.
After managing to find a parking space, I get out and walk towards the doors of Ikea. I look around for things to go into the apartment, like little things to make it feel more like home. I look around until I find the things I want. I end up buying a mirror and a couple of little things. I pay at the counter and struggle to carry the mirror back to my car.
I manage to open the boot and gently place the mirror in there. I keep my handbag and the little bag with the rest of the things I brought and put it on the passenger seat. I turn on the radio and start to drive back to apartment.
As I'm driving along, singing to the music playing I spot a Starbucks up ahead. I pull in car park and decide to pick up a drink for myself and Amy. I order our usuals and drive back home.
After about 10 minutes of driving I find myself back at the apartment building. I grab my handbag, the carrier bag and our drinks. I then attempt to lift the mirror out of the boot and carry it into the building.
Surprisingly, I manage to carry all of it. I decide to take the elevator back up as I don't really fancy carrying all of this back up the stairs. As I enter the elevator my phone starts to ring, I fumble around in my handbag and quickly answer it not bothering to look at the caller ID.
"Hello?" I say, struggling to hold everything up.
"Where are you?" I hear a very confused Amy on the other line.
"Oh, I went to Ikea to get a few bits, I decided not to wake you. You know what happened last time I woke you up "early".
"Wise choice, you could of left a note or something, I was worried. I thought you got kidnapped." She says, sounding serious.
"Kidnapped by who?" I say, letting out a laugh.
"I don't know, someone. Anyway when you coming back?"
"I'm in the elevator. I brought Starbucks."
"OH MY GOD YES GRACE." She says, screaming down the phone.
I pull the phone away from my ear and laugh at her. "Okay, I'm almost there, see you in like 2 seconds."
"Okay, bye." She says, before hanging up.
The elevator opens and I quickly walk towards our front door. I manage to open it somehow to reveal Amy sat on the sofa in her onesie. She looks over at me and waves.
I struggle to carry the stuff into the kitchen and place it all down on the counter. "Oh, it's okay, I didn't want any help anyways." I say sarcastically looking over at her.
"You didn't ask." She says, rolling her eyes and getting up from the sofa."
"Aim, it's 2 o'clock and you're still in your onesie." I say, laughing at her.
"So?" She says, taking her Starbucks from me and walking back to the sofa. "Thank you." She says, sitting down.
"You're welcome." I say, taking a sip of my own.
