Today I was going home, and it was the last thing I wanted. I quickly pack away my last few things before Brad takes me to the train station. I already say goodbye to the others back at the apartment to save any fuss later on.

As he drives to the station, silence fills the car. It didn't take a genius to figure out that we both didn't want me to go home. We shortly reach the station and Brad grabs my suitcase.

We walk towards the platform that my train is going to arrive on and wait patiently. As the train approaches the platform, Brad pulls me into a tight hug.

"I'm gonna miss you." He whispers softly, still holding onto me tightly.

"I'll miss you too, we'll make plans so I can see you before you go on tour, okay?" I say, giving him a small smile.

"Okay." He mumbles into my neck.

As a man shouts that all passengers must start to board, Brad lets go of me and places a long kiss on my lips. I kiss him back, knowing I'm going to miss the feeling of his lips against mine.

We both pull away and he gives me one more smile before I board the train, taking my suitcase in my hands. I step on the train, glancing over my shoulder to smile at him once more. I put my suitcase in the baggage area and find a spot on the train. As I get comfortable, my phone vibrates. 1 new text message.

From: Brad

Miss you already x

I read it and can't help but smile. I look up as the train starts to move forward and I see Brad, still standing on the platform waving goodbye to me. I wave back, with still a huge grin spread across my face.

As the train leaves the station and Brad is no longer in sight, I put my headphones in and listen to music. Somehow, I manage to take a little nap on the train, waking up just before the train stops at Cardiff.

- two weeks later-

It had been 14 days since I've last seen Brad and I'm missing him a lot. I know 14 days isn't that long, but it feels like it. We've been face timing and all that stuff and at the moment Brad is trying to figure out a date where we can see each other before he goes on tour and I'm trying to focus on my blog, trying to steer my attention away from how much I actually miss him.

As I'm typing up yet another blog post, my phone starts to ring. It's Brad. A smile forms on my face and I answer.

"Hey you." I say, smiling like an idiot.

"Hey babe, you alright?" He says, his brummie accent becoming more noticeable over the phone.

"Yeah, I'm good, how's you?" I say, stepping away from my laptop and lying down on my bed.

"I'm good, missing you though." He says, quietly.

"I miss you too, have you figured out what date we can see each other yet?" I say, hoping he has just so I can see him again.

"That's actually what I called you about." He says.

I expect him to tell me that we can't see each other because he's too busy or it doesn't fit for both of us, but I was wrong.

"I know it might be all a bit soon but this weekend I'm going home for a few days to see the family and stuff and I was wondering if you wanted to come up with me." He says, making me smile even more.

"I would love to, but are you sure I'm not getting in the way of family time or anything like that?" I say, instantly feeling bad.

"Babe, don't be stupid, my family loves you and I want you to be there." I've only met them once and they already love me?
