Mike, Eleven, Lucas, Max, Dustin, and Will were in Mike's basement talking about the murders going on around town. Max Always got very anxious around the topic of a serial killer going around their town killing innocent people, but who didn't? "What if they start murdering kids?" Max asked nervously. The killer had only killed adults so far, and it was mostly women. "I don't think so, they have only really killed dark haired women, so I'm pretty sure they only will only kill women," Dustin said, knowing a lot about serial killers. No one knew the gender of the killer, so they just said they. Max thought a little bit and remembered that that killer hadn't only killed women before. "No, they have killed two men. their probably waiting going to start killing more men them move on to children." max said quickly. "Max your thinking too much into this, we're lucky we don't know any of the people that have been murdered." mike said trying to change the topic.

"let's talk about something else." El finally spoke, so as Will "yeah I don't like talking about this or thinking about it." Will and El had a lot of things in common, and sharing the dislike of talking about dark, serious things was one of them. "Well..." Dustin dragged the word. "Winter break is in just 2 weeks! I can't wait to leave this town for a while." Dustin said, excited to see his girlfriend who lived across the Country. Lucas spoke up, "Yeah I bet that'll be fun for you and Will while the rest of us are stuck in the town that's now known as the serial killer town." Will was going with Dustin to California because Suzie was Will's friend before Dustin and her started dating. "I don't mind, I'm gonna spend my time off with my girlfriend" Mike turned his head to smile at El who was sitting right next to him with his arm around her. El gave a smile back in response.

"Yep, and just leave me and Lucas to be by ourselves!" Max said, annoyed at the boy. "We never said you guys couldn't hang out with us" El spoke up. "No thanks. You guys are gonna be making out the entire time, or even worse." Lucas stated, being disgusted by the thought of his two friends doing stuff with each other. "Lucas why the fuck would you put that in my head!" Max asked disgusted as well. As were Dustin and Will.

"Can you guys stop talking about that!" Mike half yelled. "If you and Max don't want to hang out with us, then why don't you two hang out together," Mike asked Lucas. Max and Lucas' heads shot to look at each other. There was a little silence and hesitation, then Lucas spoke up. "Well, I mean sure... if you want to." There was a little more silence and then Max finally agreed. They weren't as close in the group, mostly because they got more nervous around each other, Lucas found the girl attractive and Max thought he was as well.

The group decided to go to the arcade for a little bit, and then they were going to go to the movie shop to pick out a movie to watch that night. When they got to the arcade they played a few games and then decided to leave because it was packed, which was very odd to them since it was a Sunday. They all got on their bikes and road towards the movie shop where Steve and Robin worked.

The shop wasn't that far, so the group got there in about 5 minutes. The only people in the shop were Steve, Robin, Chrissy, Eddie, and the group of teens that just walked in. "Heyyy what are you guys doing here?" Will politely asked the blonde and raven haired couple sitting behind the desk."We just got bored so we came here." Eddie said with a smile and his arm wrapped around Chrissy's waist. "Well, where are Nancy and Jonathan?" El asked leaving the rest of the teens confused as well. "I don't know probably having sex somewhere," Steve said with no expression on his face. "Steve!" Robin slightly yelled. "what?" he asked genuinely confused which left the whole room laughing.

The topic changed and the teens were just walking around looking for a movie and talking to the young adults. "So what's your guy's favorite movie?" Lucas asked everyone in the room. Robin started to speak, "Well I really like the titan-" She was cut off by the news on the tv shocking everyone and making their heads turn quickly to the tv.
