max woke up at 7:00 am the next morning. Lucas wasn't there anymore and neither was Dustin or Will. Lucas went home and Dustin and Will had to go for their flight. Max decided to go on a run. she did this a lot, and it cleared her head. She liked it and was always upset she couldn't do it on school days. She had a pair of leggings and a sports bra from pe at school the day before so she changed and left.

She had been running for about 5 minutes, then she jumped from seeing Lucas next to her. She had earbuds in so she wasn't paying that much attention to anything going on around her.

"Jeez don't scare me like that!... Where did you even come from?" Max felt like he was everywhere she was, which was probably true because she never really went anywhere besides school and to hang out with her friends at Mike's house. "I was on my way to the store and then I just saw you" He shrugged. Lucas couldn't help but stare at her in a sports bra and tight leggings, He was slick though, or at least he thought he was. Max smirked, "wellll why don't you go on the rest of my run with me, and then I'll go to the store with you." Going on a run at 7:30 in the morning is not what Lucas wanted to do at the moment, but he couldn't bring himself to tell her no.

"You know what, fine. But just this once." "Yay! okay, let's go" Max explained the way they were going to go that led them to the store. It was the long way which Lucas wasn't too excited about, but he wasn't going to say anything. They started running "so do you do this a lot? You know like going on a run at like 7:00 am?" Lucas didn't think she would be a morning person whatsoever. "No, not really, well I wish I could, but I can't on school days obviously. I usually do it every weekend though" Max stated, over dramatically upset. "Wowww Max Mayfield is a morning person? I never would have thought" Lucas smirked at her. "Oh come on do I seriously seem like I would be a night person? I fall asleep at like 9:00 pm." Max used to stay up very late, but she hated it so she fixed her sleep schedule and started waking up early. "Well, I knew you fell asleep early but I thought you would be one of those people who sleep for like a really long time." Lucas decided to joke around with her. "Wow. I'm actually so offended." Max scoffed. "I'm just kidding" Lucas laughed. "Ugh I hate you" Max also laughed and started to run faster, Lucas on the other hand, was already extremely tired and didn't feel like chasing her. "Max wait!" "No, you run faster!!" She laughed at him.

Once Max made it to the store, Lucas was a little bit behind her and she just stood there waiting for him. "Finally, You're here." Max teased him. "Oh shut up you were the one that made me run this early in the morning" Lucas laughed out of breath. "You are a very fast runner though, and you're somehow breathing perfectly fine" He was very confused." "I just practice!" Max had always been told she was a slow runner, she was happy at least someone actually thought she was good at it. "Don't you feel better after running?" she asked Lucas, and secretly, he did feel pretty good but he wasn't going to admit it to her. "Pshhhh absolutely nottt." Max smirked "okay sureee," she says as they walk into the store.

"What did you need from here anyway?" Max questioned. "bread. My mom sent me since I was already awake I guess" Lucas replied. He got the bread and Max needed a couple of things that they got then they left.

"Wanna go home and shower then go to the mall or something?" Max already knew she was gonna be extremely bored when she got home and she wanted to avoid that. "sure! I'll meet you there at... 10:00?" Lucas had no idea what time the mall opened, he just guessed. "sounds good" she smiled as they both went in different directions.

Max walked out the front door of her house and locked it behind her. All the teens had recently been learning how to drive. Max decided she wanted to drive to the mall and technically, she was legally able to because she had her permit, but only if you have an adult over the age of 18 in the car with you until you get your driver's license. Max really didn't want to take her bike, so she thought it would be fine to drive alone just this once since she knew how to drive pretty well.

When she got to the mall, she saw Lucas standing by his bike. She pulled up next to him and honked her horn to get his attention. Lucas jumped at the sudden noise, and his head flew up. "Omg you scared me- wait... why are you driving alone! you do not have your license!" Lucas whisper shouted. "Relax, it's just this once because i really didn't want to bike all the way to the mall," Max explained, fully relaxed and dissimilar to Lucas. "Come on get in so I can go park" Max motioned her hands as she spoke. Lucas just shook his head and decided to get in the car.

After Max re-parked many times to get it just right, they went into the mall.

"Ugh, I haven't been here in forever! I'm so excited come on let's go" Max grabbed Lucas' hand and pulled him towards a store she wanted to go to. Unfortunately for Lucas, this happened many more times until she had thought she shopped enough, which was pretty quick. Max loved shopping, but she got tired of it pretty quickly.

"Ooooh let's go get ice cream!" Max dragged Lucas along one last time to Scoops Ahoy.  "Can we get one strawberry cone and one vanilla cone please?" Max asked Chrissy. Chrissy and Eddie now worked at Scoops Ahoy since Robin and Steve went to work at Family Video. The two teenagers got their ice cream and left the shop.

"Why don't we go see a movie? The theater is right here we might as well." Lucas suggested. "Yes!! okay, come on let's go!" Max And Lucas then went to see whatever movie was showing that day. Anyone who saw them that day definitely thought they were 100% dating, but neither of them had really thought that way about anything going on that day. They obviously questioned if it were a date for a second and then just forgot about it the next. Either way, they both know they would go on a date with each other no doubt.

I'M VERY SORRY I DIDN'T GET THIS OUT SOONER I'VE JUST BEEN SICK AND VERY TIRED BUT NOW I WILL BE POSTING ON MY USUAL SCHEDULE!:)
