Stuck in the Moment With You - Lumax

SORRY I HAVEN'T POSTED I'VE BEEN VERY BUSY BECAUSE MY HISTORY TEACHER APPARENTLY THINKS THAT WERE 20 YEARS OLD IN COLLEGE BECAUSE SHE IS GIVING US THE MOST WORK AND ONLY A HALF CLASS PERIOD TO WORK ON IT SO I HAVE IT ALL FOR HOMEWORK. SO SORRY ABOUT THAT. ALSO, I RE-WROTE THIS ENTIRE CHAPTER CAUSE I HATED IT SO THERE'S THAT.

It was a few days into winter break and Max and Lucas had hung out every day. t
They had nothing else to do and they didn't want to be bored the whole time. It was Tuesday morning and Max and Lucas decided to go on a walk around the town. Lucas used to hate going on walks and runs but now he kinda liked them, especially if he was with Max.

Max gasped, "omg can we stop at target? pleaseeee" Max begged him. "Oh gosh, what do you need from target?" Lucas knew whenever she went into target she never wanted to leave. "You'll seeee come on pleaseeee?" Lucas wasn't sure this was a good idea but he was curious to see what she wanted from target. "Okay fine let's go." "yay!! come on walk faster!" Lucas laughed quietly. He always loved when she was excited and happy.

When they got to target and walked in they saw a bunch of Christmas decorations and other Christmas products. Max squealed and grabbed Lucas' hand to drag him through every single Christmas aisle in the store. "Ohhh so this is what you were excited about" Lucas chuckled. "Yes! It's all Christmasy!" Max's favorite holiday was Christmas. She also really liked Halloween, but she liked Christmas time a little bit more. "Look at the snowman!!" 

They had been looking around for a little while now and Lucas had to use the restroom. "Max I'll be right back I'm gonna go to the restroom." "Okay, I'll still be in this aisle." Lucas nodded and started walking in the direction of the bathroom.

Max was looking around the aisle she was in because she told Lucas she wouldn't leave it.  She see's an older man walk into the aisle and she didn't think anything of it until he started talking to her. "You always look that good?" Max just looked at the guy and ignored him. She had no idea what to say and she was very uncomfortable. He stayed silent for a second then started to talk to her again. "come on let me take you on a date." Max was starting to get really nervous, she felt like he was going to try and pull something. "please leave me alone." She hoped if she asked him to, he would. before the guy could say anything else Lucas came back.

Lucas saw what was going on and the first thing he could think of to do was to somehow make it known to the guy that she was his "girlfriend". obviously, she wasn't actually his girlfriend but this way the man would leave max alone. Lucas walked closer to max and wrapped his arms around his waist. "hey are you ready to go?" Lucas asked max hoping she would understand what he was trying to do. Unfortunately, she didn't really get it and was very confused about why his arms were around her waist. "uhmm yeah" Max responded to Lucas' question not really sure what was going on. Lucas gave max a look and soon after she connected the dots. He glanced at the guy and he was still looking at max in the most disgusting way possible and was clearly getting closer to them. Without thinking, Lucas grabbed Max's face and kissed her.

They both stared at each other in shock for a moment. Luckily, before they even looked up the man had stormed off angrily. Lucas gently pulled Max by her waist out of the aisle.

They walked down the store in awkward silence. They were both still shocked about what just happened but then again, it excited them. they had been walking for about 1 minute and Max decided to break the silence. "thank you... for saving me". "you're welcome, I wasn't going to just let that happen to you it's disgusting" Lucas responded to her. "yeah it is and it's really uncomfortable... I'm just glad you were there" Max looked up at Lucas and smiled at him. "Do you wanna go back to my trailer?" She suggested since they had nothing to do now. "yeah let's go" Lucas smiled back at her.

While Max and Lucas were walking to Max's trailer they were talking about everything they could think of, and the most random stuff they could think of. They were having an amazing time with each other like they always do which is why they like to be around each other so much. The only thing that they weren't talking about and should have been talking about, was the kiss.

after about a 15-minute walk, they got to Max's trailer. No one was home at the moment because her mom was at work and her brother was out somewhere with his friends. "what should we dooooo" Max asked Lucas as she was already starting to get bored from sitting down for 5 minutes.   "hmm do you have board games?" "Yesss come they're in my room!"

Max grabbed Lucas' hand and ran to her room. She was excited that they found something to do. Lucas laughed and smiled at her. Once they got to her room, they looked through all of her board games and they decided to play the Game of Life. They started to play and they were having an amazing time. "are you kidding me I don't want 7 kids" Max said annoyed and Lucas just laughed at her. "hey it's better than having absolutely no money" they both laughed and continued playing the game. In the end, Lucas had won the game. Max wasn't too happy about it because she was very competitive, but she got over it. After they played many more games and just enjoyed each other's company.

Eventually, they both got tired. "Lucasss I'm tired let's go lay down and watch a movie" "Yeah I'm tired too let's go". Max turned on a movie and they both got on her bed and laid down. Soon enough, they found themselves wrapped around each other drifting off to sleep.

AGAIN SORRY ITS BEEN A WHILE BUT I AM GOING TO CHANGE MY POSTING SCHEDULE AGAIN. I KNOW I KEEP CHANGING IT BUT IM JUST TRYING TO FIND WHAT WORKS FOR ME. I AM GOING TO POST 2 DAYS A WEEK. RIGHT NOW IT IS VERY LATE ON A SUNDAY SO THIS COMING WEEK I WILL POST ONE OR TWO IT JUST DEPENDS HOW MUCH TIME I HAVE. ALSO I DON'T KNOW WHAT DAYS IM GOING TO BE POST ON YET IM GOING TO SEE HOW THIS WEEK GOES AND SEE WHICH DAYS WORK BEST FOR ME AND ILL LET YOU GUYS KNOW:)
