This chapter is going to mention panic/anxiety attacks as well as vague mentions of abuse.

Two boys played in the fresh snow. It had been falling nearly the whole day and was the perfect consistency for a snowball fight. And even when cold winds blew and the sun began to set they were content to just have fun.

There was a familiar soft crunch when a snowball was chucked at my face. I took a few steps back as I tried to wipe the snow from my eyes. As I looked up to prepare for Tommy's next attack I froze when I noticed he was standing still with his hands in his pockets, and a smile stretched across his face.

"Hey Tubbo, don't you think it's about time we started heading back?" He said proudly.

I let out a sigh and as the white fog rolled past my face I spoke, "Can't we stay out for a few more minutes? The sun hasn't set just yet," I begged.

"Tubbo, really?" Tommy said.

"Yup! We'll be fine," I promised with a smile.

"Jesus Christ Tubbo," He sighed. Before turning around and passionately gesturing toward the setting sun. "Look at the sun! It's practically out of sight!" As Tommy yelled I quickly scooped up some snow and started forming a snowball. Tommy turned back to face me as he continued to yell, "Are you trying to get us blown up by a-" I cut him off with a snowball to the face.

"Creeper," He finished as the snow began to fall off his face.

"On second thought, getting home is probably a good idea," I said as a smug grin subconsciously fell across my face.

"I fucking hate you," Tommy muttered as he turned and started walking in the direction of the house.

"Love you too Tommy," I said as I cocked my head and started following him.

The clearing we had been playing in soon shifted to a familiar spruce forest. As we grew closer to home we approached a mountain that we began to walk alongside. I drug my fingers, which were numb from the cold along the side of a steep cliff that towered overhead. I had done this a few times before, enough for it to become a habit every time I pass this part of the mountain.

The familiar solid wall disappeared behind a wall of snow and came back a second later. I stopped and looked back at the hand full of snow I accidentally removed from the wall.

"That's weird," I blurted out.

"What's weird?" Tommy asked. I glanced over at him. He was now looking at me.

I looked back to the patch of snow. "I don't think there's anything behind that," I said.

"Realy?" He beamed as he pushed past and dug his hand through the snow. "Holy shit," He chuckled as he continued to dig out handfuls of snow. I brushed Tommy to the side and started helping him dig. Within a few moments, we had dug through to the other side and were met with a cave with smooth walls and stone supports.

"Whoa," I breathed.

"That looks man-made," Tommy said.

"Yeah, it does," I agreed with a slight nod.

There was a moment of silence where we just stared into the shadows before Tommy spoke, "We should totally explore it."

I looked over at him and met his gaze, "That is a terrible idea," I said, "I'm in." Smiles fell over our faces.

"Not tonight though, I'm too tired for that shit," Tommy decided.

"Absolutely not, we're going home and having dinner," I agreed before turning and attempting to leave.
