A Star-Filled World

| Chapter 4 || Annoying Pest || Ranboo |

The queen watched as the group of guards left their room. A gentle feeling of dread began to wash over them. They quickly walked back to their desk and opened up their communication device. The menu flickered up to its place in front of them. Vev didn’t hesitate to begin messaging their wife.

Vev - a human fell through one of the portals

Darling - what

Vev - there’s an open portal somewhere in the overworld and a human found it

Darling - so a human found a portal and decided it was a good idea to jump in

Vev - they told me they fell in by accident

Darling - and you believed them

Vev- they looked too scared to lie

The queen waited for a new message to pop up, but after a few moments, they began to take some of their attention away from their communication device and back to their work.

Darling - what are we supposed to do

It took a few moments for the queen to realize they got another message, and when they did, they started to drag their fingers through a loose chunk of their hair as they tried to think of something to say.

Vev - im not sure

Vev - they havent really done much besides attack one of the guards

Darling - yikes

Vev - we need to get someone to look after them 

Vev - just sending them to prison seems like a terrible idea theyll just die

Darling - yeah

Darling - but who would willingly do that

The queen paused for a moment, taking the time to think. Their eyes lit up as soon as an idea popped into their mind. They turned their attention back completely to their communication device.

Vev - ranboo

Darling - no

Vev - at least hear me out

Darling - thats insane

Darling - what if the human kills them

Vev - we’ll make sure ranboo has guards with them so if the human is somehow that delusional then there will be people to stop them

Darling - i dont think theyd even agree to do that

Vev - they probably wouldnt 

The queen smiled to themselves.

Vev - but during breakfast they did show that they might not be the best at controlling their emotions or knowing what’s best for people

Vev - also they called you a bitch

Darling - that doesnt change the fact that the human could be dangerous

Vev - i dont think they are but if they try anything what-so-ever then ranboo is no longer allowed around them

The king didn’t respond for a while. As the minutes passed the queen began to grow worried. Just as they were about to get up and go talk to them in person they received another message.

Darling - fine

Gentle music continued to play as I mindlessly cleaned my room. The worries that had once plagued my mind earlier that morning have faded into a dull fog that I did my best to ignore. A light set of footsteps approached my room, causing my attention to flicker over to my door. Within moments of noticing the footsteps, there was a lazy knock on the door.
