I quickly threw on some thick winter clothes before jogging out of my room and down the stairs. After making my way into the kitchen, I began frantically scanning the counter. Where the hell is that damned thing? I snapped my attention back to the stairs when a set of heavy footsteps headed down them.

"Hey Tech, do you know where another damn lantern is?" I called.

The Blade stepped into the living room and looked over at me, "Yeah. Why?"

"The one that's usually in here is gone," I said.

"Right then," He sighed, "I'll be right back." Soon Techno had disappeared back up the stairs. After grabbing the matches that still lay on the counter I made my way over to the door and put on my boots. My eyes were locked on the stairs as I mindlessly fiddled with the small box in my hands. Time crept by and all I could do was sit there and wait.

I began rolling back and forth on my feet before taking a glance out the living room window. My eyes locked on the snow-covered mountain that loomed over the house. A shiver crawled down my spine. He's fine, he's just lost, that's all.

My attention snapped back to the stairs when the floorboards above me began to creek. Soon Techno was standing in the stairwell above me. He silently showed me the lantern, and in return, I showed him the matches.

I didn't wait for Techno to get his shoes on before I bolted out the front door. My feet dragged through the deep snow, and the sudden gust of cold air nipped at my nose and ears. I pulled my hood over my head and turned back to look at Blade. He was several meters behind me and was still messing with his boots.

"Hurry up man!" I yelled. My voice quivered slightly. I quickly shook my head. Tubbo's fine, he's just as strong and brave as I am. A zombie couldn't kill him if it tried.

"Give me a moment," He huffed. Soon a familiar set of heavy footsteps were right behind me. We walked in silence. At some points, it was difficult to push my feet through the snow, but being the big strong man that I am, I refused to let that slow me down.

It didn't take us long to reach the side of the mountain. And after only a few moments I noticed a boxy indent in the cliff face ahead. I froze for a moment before sprinting toward it. The crunching of heavy footsteps behind me matched my pace and came to a halt shortly after I did.

"Here it is." I gestured toward the very obvious hallway embedded in the mountain.

"What the hell," Techno breathed before taking a few more steps forward and placing his hand on the stone frame that surrounded the entrance. We both stood there silently for a moment. At some point, I had begun mindlessly chewing on the inside of my mouth.

I snapped myself out of my haze and stepped toward Techno. As I pulled the matches out from my pocket I snatched away the lantern that he held. And with a swift motion from my wrist, the lantern was soon filled with life.

"I'll lead the way since you're so frozen with fear," I scoffed. Blade huffed before starting after me and yanking the lantern out of my hands.

"No, Phil would kill me if you got hurt," He sighed.

"OH MY GOD," I groaned, "You're so fucking stupid. I'm not going to hurt myself." The piglin glanced back at me, shook his head, and then continued looking forward. "You mother fucking bitch!!" I screeched, "I am not weak!"

I ran into Techno when his dumbass suddenly stopped with no warning. "WHAT THE HELL MAN!"

"There's a fork in the road," He sighed. I stepped around him, and sure enough, there were two hallways in front of us.

"Let's just pick a hallway and go," I groaned as I began walking toward the hallway to our right. I suddenly choked and fell backward when Blade roughly grabbed my jacket's hood.
