The next morning we lined up again, all in the same formation as before. Keith stood out facing everyone with Eren already getting hooked up.

"I'm surprised he's even letting him have another go." I whispered to Annie. "Didn't Eren's father know Shadis?" She whispered back. "I don't know... I don't even know who is Eren's father, I'm not exactly the biggest fan of him."
"I spoke to Christa who spoke to Mikasa, apparently his dad was found beyond the walls somehow, and back when Shadis was still a scout, like long before he become commander of the scouts." She explained.
"Than what do you think? He's being bias to Eren, I mean... that makes sense, I mean... he did send five people home yesterday after after they failed..."
"Watch your fucking mouth when you're talking about Eren."

Annie and I quickly looked back to see Mikasa staring at us. I looked back at her yes wide while Annie didn't seem to give to shits. "Anyyyyyyway Y/N, back to what I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted. Annie said turning to face the front.

They hooked Eren up to the harness and by some mercurial he didn't fall over. "YES! YES! I get to stay!" Eren yelled throwing his hands up into the air. Keith didn't say anything. They put Eren down and he still looked ecstatic.

"Alright Cadets! Today we will be training hand to hand combat, one of you will have be on the offensive and the other will be on the defensive, everyone grab a partner!" Keith yelled.

Annie instinctively grabbed my arm. I looked over to her and nodded with a smile. "So, who's going first? Should I show you how it's done, or should I let you attempt to get me?" I joked.  "You sure you wanna play this game Y/N?" She asked jokingly.

I held the knife backwards facing her. "Ummm, Y/N, that's not how you hold a knife..." she said with a worried look. "What's wrong? Afraid I'll win?" I asked with a smirk. "Hmmmm, sure..." she said moving her hands to her usual fighting position. I ran at her and she kicked my leg and grabbed me between my armpit and my shoulder and threw me to the ground.
"Agh." I whispered softly. Annie let go loosely and kissed me on the cheek. "The only reason you're not in pain right now is because you're my favourite hooman ." She said looking at me with a smile.
"Hey Y/N." She continued
"Uhhh. Yeah." I said trying to breath
"You got something on your chin." She said with a giggle. I looked at her and shook my hand free to feel.
"No, the third one dow-" she said before she started crying of laughter softly.
"Sorry what was that, couldn't hear you through all that breathing you were doing." I said blocking her nose. She slapped my hand away and said. "I really hope our kids have my nose," she said with a smile.
"Jokes on you... after that nut tap from yesterday, I'm now a lesbian." I said with excitement.
"Ymir said she's a lesbian, girl me too." I said shrugged my arms.

"Annie!" Someone yelled from behind us. Annie and I got up and looked around, it was Reiner. "Hey Annie, come here for a sec." He gestured for her to come over to her. Annie looked at me with an angry look on her face and left to speak to him. I stood there wide eyed wondering what they did to make her that mad. I looked down and found the knife and picked it up again. I looked over again to see Eren on the floor with his ass in the air and Annie walking back to me. Eren said something to Reiner and then he said something to Annie and a few seconds later Reiner was on the floor with Eren. Eren got up one more time and looked at Annie, challenging her one last time. Eren ran at her and Annie did the same thing to him what she did to the three of us and before I knew it Annie has Eren on the ground, but he was holding him tighter than usual. "Annie I'm tapping out." Eren said turning purple.
"You don't get to give up." She said tightening her grip. I grew very concerned, I don't like Eren but he doesn't deserve this. I jogged over to Annie and Eren and tapped her on the back. "Annie... you won, let it go." I said now placing my hand on her back. I could feel her lats start to relax.
