"Goodnight my love." Was the last thing I heard before I stopped twirling my finger in her beautiful blonde hair and fell back to sleep.

"Y/N catch me!" Annie said reaching both her hands out for me to grab her. "Haha" she laughed after I caught her. I held her up while she rested her arms around my shoulders. Time stood still as I looked into her eyes, "life is perfect..." I thought to myself.

Suddenly a hand came out and grabbed Annie from me. "Annie!!" I yelled reaching out for her. I tried running after her but all I could do was run on one spot, I watched as she was lifted up by a titan and left dangling by the titans two fingers in the air above his mouth. "No!" I yelled trying to actually move. Without a second thought the titan dropped her into his mouth and slammed it shut. My mouth could no say anything and I was stuck in place unable to move. The titan swallowed and looked over to me and got back up off it's knees and made it's way over to me, without even a seconds notice it had me clutched in its hand it stared at me with its menacing eyes but still I couldn't move, I saw it's mouth open wide and it's putrid breath engulfed my nostrils.

"Ah." I yelled springing off my side and into an upright position. I took a moment to catch my breath sweat covered my body and my hair dripped with it too. I couldn't hear anything for a second, too shocked by the nightmare I had just endured. All I heard was ringing and a distant voice calling my name.
"Y/N."
"Y/N." I heard again slightly louder
"Y/N!" I heard one final time before my hearing returned back to normal, I looked over to see Annie also sitting up right with an extremely worried look on her face.
"Y/N, what is it?" She asked sounding just as worried as I looked.
"Oh my god... Ann." I said still breathless. I swung both my arms around her and basically dove on her, she fell back while I had my head on her chest.
"You had a nightmare, yes?" she asked wrapping both her arms around my neck.

"Yeah..." I said with a sigh.

"And by the sound of how you saw me, I presume I was in it... and ... died." She said looking down at me with a caring look.

I tightened my grip around her and whispered. "Yeah... exactly..." in a defeated tone.

She let go of her left arm and used it to wipe the sweat from my forehead and pushed my hair back.
"I'm not going anywhere my love. Nothing is going to happen to me, I'll be here till the end." She explained in such a tone that it almost made me cry.

"Promise?"
"Pinky Promise..." she said wiping one of tears from eyes.

I lay there without saying a word for a few minutes, her presence more than enough to comfort me.
"Do these night terrors happen often?" She asked
"No, not often... but enough..." I explained.
"I'm here now Y/N." She said caressing my ear,
"What did you dream about?" I asked.
"I dreamt of our life after the Military Police... a nice town house in Stohess with a pretty daughter named Athena..." she explained. She looked down at me again and asked "and you want to know what else?"
"What?"
"She had my nose." She said with a smirk trying to lighten the mood.

"And did I send her back where she came from until she fixed it?"
Annie didn't responded to that she only moved her hand and blocked my nose.
"Okay. Okay, you made your point." I said making that sound people make when they're nose is blocked.

"Feeling better?" She asked.
"Yeah... now that you're here. I guess." I said letting go of her and sitting back up.

I looked around the dorm to see that no one was there.  "Long weekend has everyone feeling a special kind of way by leaving at the first opportunity, hey." I said still surveying the room.

"Most people weren't even here last night when I snuck in." She shrugged.

"Did anyone notice you this morning?" I asked looking back at her.
