Caden's POV
I took Zaleya out in order to break the unfortunate news to her.
But of course, as I was heading out, I earned dirty glances from Emmett and that other dude . What was his name? Alton?

We made our way to a private waiting area as she was clutching on my arms for dear life.
In desperate need to touch me.
Recently, I didn't even realise how clingy Zaleya has became and how dependant she was on me. And that's what made the thing I was about to next worse.

Her long tanned fingers were making their way up my chest as she was trying to distract me.
I pinched the bridge of my now as I pinned her Barbie body against the wall in order for her to shut up.
You would think that she would quiet down but no, she takes it as a sign. A sign of wanting.
A surprised giggle erupted from her as she tried to attack me with her kisses.
"No Zaleya. Stop. S-Stop!" I denied but she carried on whilst ignoring me.
So I had no choice.
"I command you to stop!" I used the alpha command on her and she whimpered and bowed her head in submission.
"I'm sorry babe. But I can't carry on with you anymore." I apologised.

Laughter erupted from her lips.
What?
My eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
Why was she laughing?

"You-must-be-joking-ahaha!" She exclaimed in between laughs.

My face stayed emotionless, showing her that I was indeed not joking .
Realisation dawned on her as she went into a hysteria.

"NOOO! You can't leave me! What? Why? Is it because of that Emma girl?! I can be better than her. Please we've been through so much together baby please." She begged and I shook my head in denial.

It was getting annoying now.
"No. I'm breaking up with you and that's it."
I growled and walked away.

I entered the familiar hospital room which Emma was residing in and my heart clenched at the sight.
She was asleep, snoring softly as strands of her hair were all over the place.

Even asleep, she was a sexy goddess.
We're so lucky my wolf gushed as he admired our mate.
Wait- so we have a second chance mate? Who has the same name coincidentally? I asked.
My wolf let out a chuckle as he mysteriously replied

You'll find out one day my dear human.

What? What was that supposed to mean?
I let out a sigh of defeat.

"You stupid aśshole!" An annoying voice brought me out of my reverie as I turned to look at the owner of the voice.

There, beside the door, was the boy who was close to Emma and who was previously sending me daggers.
He marched up to me and gave a grimly gay smile.

"What the absolute f*ck is yo problem dude?! First, you go an be an absolute ašshole to Emma then you take her f*cking heart and now she's split up with F*CKING ALPHA EMMETT SILVER!" He ranted as he came closer and closer by the inch.

I was now up out of my chair and we were head to head threateningly snarling at each other.

"Because-of-you!" he finished off between jabs to my chest.

His purple eyes were glowing with anger.

"Well I'm f*cking glad because she's my f*cking mate and she belongs to me." I possessively growled.

He might be her best friend but I wasn't sure on what his true motives could be.
Surprisingly he backed away and sat on a plush foam sofa which was situated near Emma's bed.

"You better treat her f*cking right. Or else I'll castrate you without giving two flying unicorns if you're an Alpha." He warned with a grimly gay smile on as he glared daggers at me.
