Caden's POV
The retreating figure of Emmett left me simmering in anger.
Who the f*ck does he think he is, asking me all those personal questions?! The events of lunch rushed back.
~FLASHBACK~
"Baby, I can't wait to go to the club tonight!" The voice of Zaleya met my ears but for some reason I wasn't concentrating on her. Images of a certain brunette came to mind, the way her long tanned legs were showed off by her pale blue dungarees, her perfect curves under that white shirt, the way her beautiful brown eyes glistened as she smiled with those soft pink lips-Wait.WHAT THE F*CK?! No. I'm not gonna think about that b*tch! Ugh. Suddenly, a waft of vanilla, coffee and rain met my senses and my wolf perked up immediately, my wolf's been in depression for a long time and only talks to me when it's necessary. The doors of the Cafeteria opened and in came Emma with.....Hmmm....What's his name?....Ryan?-Ashton and Alpha Emmett. My fists automatically curled up at the sight of Emmett and Emma laughing and him touching her. My eyes never left Emma's amazing figure as she walked up to the Lunch line whilst joking around with the guys. A voice suddenly snapped me out of my thoughts "Cade, You do know that right?" Aleck asked. "Huh?" I unwillingly let out. Alivia annoyingly giggled and Aleck shaked his head in disapproval. "Tut.Tut. You weren't listening were you?" Alivia spoke but before I could answer that the delicious scent of vanilla, coffee and rain was wafting closer so my wolf decided to appear.
"Alpha Emmett, Why don't you join us?"
My blood boiled as Emma was sandwiched between The b*stard and Ryan, I don't personally have a grudge against Emmett but recently he makes me so angry and hell! I don't even know the f*ck why!
Alivia and Aleck introduced themselves and I again took the chance to check out Emma discreetly.
After a while Emmett spoke up.
(A/N- I won't be able to write the exact same dialogue that Emmett spoke in Emma's POV because wattpad doesn't let me copy and paste so sorry! But I'll try my best!"So Alpha Caden, In order to know your strengths and weaknesses I must know if anything significant has occurred in the past, maybe a rogue attack, someone leaving or...?"
What the hell?! Who the f*ck does he think he is asking me that kind of question?! Anger coursed through my veins as I withheld my anger.
Zaleya then decided to speak and said "Excuse me Emmett? What are you trying to say?!"
How come she was talking so informally to him?
I could see Emma's eyes narrow at Zaleya's actions."HOW DARE YOU CALL ME THAT?! NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO CALL ME THAT EXCEPT EMMA." He boomed whilst wrapping his arms around Emma, my anger risened and I needed to shift,my wolf was clawing at my insides.
"No , only a few rogue attacks." I answered whilst gritting my teeth.
Emma's melodious voice spoke "Okay... um I'll see you later, I need to go see my bestie." After her retreating figure left Emmett smirked and finally spoke after a long awkward silence "So, I'll see you people later at the pack house. I'm craving my gorgeous girlfriend's touch." He winked and exited the room leaving me bathing in my anger.
