Chapter 18

EMMA'S (Wolf) POV
I had completely taken over the Human's body as the sight of my handsome mate came into my vision.
Come to me my beautiful Ariadney, you need my touch, I need to hold you.
Zander, Caden's wolf and my beloved, called out to me and I yearned his touch so very much.
And without realising, I had Caden up against the wall and a growl erupted from him, showing that I disrespected Zander along with Caden.
My heart ached as I realised the disrespect I portrayed to my king and I whimpered at the thought.
His eyes softened at the sound and within seconds the tables turned as he had me pinned instead.
His calloused yet soft fingers trailed down my cheek with affection and a purr of delight erupted from my lonely lips.
Suddenly, I felt his soft plump lips meet with mine and ecstasy ran through my veins.
I forgot about the human, I forgot about her self respect, I forgot about everything.
All I could focus on was Caden and Zander.
My king.
He pulled away after what seemed like a beautiful minute or two and rested his forehead against mine as he pierced my soul with his soft, conflicted grey orbs.
"You're my mate. You're my beautiful mate. Aren't you?" he whispered, he seemed intrigued and in awe as he played with the loose strands of my hair.
"Yes my beloved. I'm yours." I agreed as I held contact with his eyes.
The human would be full of vexation at the fact that I was throwing her unnecessary pride and dignity away.
Swiftly, his stormy grey orbs transformed to pitch black as my Zander took over.
"My Queen,You have showed my human and confirmed his doubts that you are his and I believe that from now we will meet more often physically."
His deep voice claimed as he brought me closer.
"Yes My king. I am yours and only yours.
My heart, soul and body belongs to you. And as my human Emma takes over, please remind my Caden of that. We will be one soon hopefully my lord. And to you I bid farewell, my human seems to be begging me to leave her body."
He pressed his lips once more to mine before bidding me farewell.
"Farewell my Luna, Persuade my Emma."
He commanded.
And before I knew it, I fell into unconsciousness.

CADEN'S POV
I watched the whole scene of Zander and Ariadney speaking sweet nothings but one thing stuck in my head the most.
"...My king. I am yours and only yours.
My heart, soul and body belongs to you..."
And as my wolf left my body, Emma's figure collapsed in my arms.
She must've tried to fight against her wolf.
When a person's wolf comes out, if you try to fight against it and try to make it leave your body then all of your energy fades because there is simply no point in doing that.
The wolf always wins.
However, I'm lucky because me and my wolf Zander have a strong bond and we have became one. And that's what Emma needs to do with her Wolf, she should submit or she'll never be as strong as she can be.
I took Emma in my arms and walked over to her private house which she shares with a few other guys of her pack.
Anger coursed through my veins.
I didn't like The fact that my mate is so close to other unmated wolves.
Especially that Alton dude.
There's something off about him that I simply can't put my finger on.
And when she was cuddling with him before my wolf felt like ripping him to shreds for touching my mate.
I reached Emma's room and placed her comfortably in her sheets and I yearned to lie next to her.
To my mate.
Wow. That will never get old.
A wave of pride entered me as I had the right to call her my mate.
I needed to leave because even though I had the full right to be with her, She would kill me for being beside her in the same bed.
A smile creeped on my face as I remembered all the times she's been mad at me.
She was hot when she was mad.
Okay, focus Caden.
I changed her out of her clothes and pride engulfed me as I saw her body and I walked into her wardrobe searching for some pyjamas.
As I searched through her rack of clothes, I took a pair of pyjama's out which were designed with RACE CARS?!
Oh my god. This girl will never fail to surprise me.
I got her changed and was about to retreat from the room when her hand latched on to mine.
"Don't leave me..." She whispered and my eyes widened in surprise.
But that didn't stop me.
Faster than lighting, I stripped down to my boxers and hopped into bed with her still in my state of shock.
She turned around, her eyes still closed, and buried her face into my chest and hugged my torso.
I sighed in content at her actions and closed my eyes and brought her petite figure close.
I wish I could always go to sleep like this.

Too bad she'll have my head on a plate in the morning

EMMA'S POV
Rays of sunlight blinded my vision as my eyes fluttered open.
What? Where was I?
I tried to get up but a large tanned hand was holding me down.
What the fudge?
My eyes trailed their way up the hand and to the owners face and they widened in horror at the sight.
CADEN!
He was naked, in bed, with me.
"OI YOU PERVERT. WHY ARE YOU IN MY BED?!" I shouted in his ear and his eyes opened calmly before his anger released at my words.
"Pervert?! Excuse the f*ck me. I'm your Mate and I demand some f*cking respect. I have every right to be with you in bed." He exclaimed before encaging my petit waist with his long arm and forcing me to lie down.
Anger coursed through me at his language and actions.
I grabbed hold of his arm and wacked it off me.
And with all my force I smacked him in my rage. Not realising what I had done.
"How dare you?! You don't have the right to call me your mate and you never will. So suck on that pretty boy. And don't ever try to touch me again."
His eyes were filled with pure rage after he realised that I slapped him.
And I barged out the room in vexation.
As I walked downstairs, The horror of what I had done dawned in on me.
Sh*t.
I slapped the Alpha.
And now he must be out to get me.
I heard heavy footsteps descend quickly down the stairs as I saw Caden's irate figure make its way towards me.
His eyes were black with anger and his canine's revealed themselves.
But before he could do anything to me, an unbearable pain coursed through me and it felt as though somebody had stabbed me several times.
I moaned in pain and started to find it difficult to breathe.
Something was stuck in my throat as I coughed up blood on the white rug.
I was hunched over as I was having the most horrible encounter in my life.
It felt as though I was dying, but worse.
Silent tears of blood left my eyes as the pain continued.
Blood rushed through my ears as I was starting to fall into a black abyss.
And the last thing I heard was the sound of Caden's anxious voice
"Emma!".

I woke up to a place that was all blank and just white.
It was desolate.
"Hello? Anybody there?" I queried as I looked around.
I took a few steps forward but there was still nothing.
"Emma, I'm your wolf Ariadney."
An enchanting,poised voice spoke and I turned around to see the owner of the voice.
There was a beautiful light grey wolf and as if on instinct, I kneeled down and stroked it's fur.
"Why am I here Ariadney?" I asked, confusion written clearly on my face.
She trotted over to me and looked at me face to face.
"You disrespected my king. My Caden and my Zander and I couldn't tolerate that. You dared to raise your hand on him! And to make you realise your disastrous doing, I punished you."
She stated majestically.
Betrayal slapped me in the face.
"Wow. So you would put me through that much pain for that monster?! You're supposed to be one with me and be by MY side, not his!"
I accused outraged.
And a growl emitted from the wolf as she bared her teeth at me.
"Don't try and use that tone on me human, I've had enough of your immature behaviour." she spat before carrying on, this time with a softer voice.
"Emma, you're my human. And I love you but why don't you understand that we need to be with Caden and Zander? The moon goddess put us with him for a reason. I know you still have a grudge against him for rejecting you because of your former self and I know that you want to make him Regret rejecting you. But what's the point if he already regretted it?
He hasn't admitted it to anyone but he cried himself to sleep every single night straight for two weeks after you left. He stopped eating. And he was about to part with his wolf, blaming it on Zander that he had this heartbreak. How do I know that? Because his wolf was in agony, Zander was calling out to me in despair begging me to come back and make it stop. But then one night Caden gave up on you and on everything and tried to forget about you. So in all honesty, he did regret rejecting you."
She spoke and left me speechless as I stood there with my mouth ajar.
Oh my gosh...
But that still doesn't make up for acting like this.
"He's still an arrogant, ignorant little butthole."
I retorted and Ariadney let out a bitter laugh.
"Well that's his personality and you're the only one who can change that my love."

She was about to retreat when she turned back and spoke.
"Remember, now we are one my Emma, and I'll always be with you."

And with that she left me and gave me the hard decision on whether to forgive Caden or not.
