Emma's POV
"You gotta bae or nah?"
The voice of Cameron Dallas and Nash Grier filled the room as I scrolled through vines on my phone.
It was so boring.
Everyone had went to a stupid meeting leaving me alone with this annoying nurse.
After her outburst I demanded that I received another nurse but she said she was assigned by Caden so I couldn't go against him.
How ironic.
There was a MacBook at the side of the table which Alton brought from home.
Should I go on it?
Or was that too nosy?
I decided not to and stuck to my phone and television.
The channels were all boring as well so that left me with my phone.
I let out a heavy sigh as I continued watching YouTube videos and vines.
Raucously, I was laughing so hard that tears pooled in my eyes and threatened to spill until I was interrupted by a loud BOOM!
Crash!
I could hear footsteps advancing towards my room and I done the first thing that came to my mind.
Hastily, I ran to the bathroom as a piercing pain shot through my side.
Fumbling with the lock, I stacked items like a stool on the door and toiletries in hope that it would help.
I made my way to the furthest corner of the bathroom, prepared to shoot anyone with the shower hose.
"Oh Emma... Where are youuu?" A sinister voice sang.
Fear coursed through me as a bead of sweat trickled down my forehead.
Caden please come.
I tried to mind link Emmett but it seemed as though he was blocked off.
The same with Alton.
Strange.
The footsteps became louder which meant they were close.
Ugh where are they now that I need them?
Caden please come...
I chanted over and over in my head when all of a voice interrupted my panic.
"We've found you Emma and we're going to give you 30 seconds to get out yourself and no harm will be done." The voice was continuing in the creepy tone.
Oh my gosh.
What should I do?
The deranged man could be bluffing and could use this as a way to just make me retreat from my hiding spot or-
My thought train was interrupted again as he knocked on the door.
"21 seconds left." He chirped.
I wonder what he would actually look like in real life because his voice made him sound like the joker.
"15 seconds."
With all my bravery I took of the many items stacked against the door.
"5 seconds." He reminded with happiness flooding through his voice.
"5,4,3,2-"
I swung the door open only to be met with the most angelic face and to be stabbed in the neck with some sort of needle.
My surroundings became dizzy before I gave into an abyss of darkness.
CADEN'S POV
I ran as fast as my feet could bare.
No one is allowed to lay a hand on my mate.
As I ran, I could hear footsteps also chorusing behind me; it was probably him.
We reached the pack hospital and I broke though all the doors and flew up every flight of stairs in a rush to get to her.
What if something's happened to her?
What if I'm too late?
The hospital was a mess and torn to shreds; barely anyone was there.
It was deserted.
Oh no...
The familiar glass door of Emma's room was at the far corridor and I was there within seconds.
The minute I opened the door, my eyes were met with the sight of everything trashed and toppled over; they quickly shot to Emma's bed and she wasn't there.
No!
My blood boiled as I rushed over to her bed to see if there were any clues as to where she may have been.
At the corner of my eye there was a small note.
Alpha Caden,
We have your beautiful little mate
What are you going to do about it?
Emmett and the others flooded in the room and he shouted in fury and let it out on any object near him.
"This is all your fucking fault!" He shouted grabbing his head in his hands.
"How is it my fault?" I exclaimed growing even more furious.
He advanced forwards.
"It was because of you that her wolf took over."
Even though my blood was boiling to the max I couldn't even say anything back because it was true.
My mate was gone.
Because of me.
Again.
