It was a bit easier to spend time apart from Wille than Simon had originally thought. Or maybe it was just the fact, that their mom kept them busy for the days before Christmas... It was super nice to spend time at home and with his mom. But on the Christmas Eve, he started to feel the ache on his chest. Nothing too bad, but something that did not feel that nice either. He and Wille owled every day, and it was relief, that things were a bit better in Wille's home, than he had anticipated. Or at least Wille was saying, that his mom just currently avoided him, but the lady had not gotten any drastical ideas. He wrote that his brother was super happy and supportive. Even stated, that Erik was really exited to meet Simon. Wille's dad was still quite neutral about the situation, not against but not throwing rainbow confetti either.

But the Christmas Eve was hard. He wanted to hold Wille, not toss and turn in his bed alone. He wanted to whisper sweet nothings to the boy's ear and made Wille blush and giggle. He just really wanted to have a long conversation about everything and anything. He had used to spend most of his free time with Wille, so it was a bit of an adjustment. Simon had no idea how long he spent in his bed, but eventually at some point he had fallen asleep...

The Christmas Day morning was better. At the end of his bed located four presents. He knew that his mom's and Sara's presents were under the tree in their living room, but somehow the Christmas gifts from wizards outside of the family just appeared on the foot of the bed. So without further thinking, he just surged to open the packages. There was candy from Ayub and a nice scarf from Rosh. He was a bit surprised when he also saw a present from Felice. He considered the girl still more as a Wilhelm's friend, but obviously the girl saw otherwise. He even felt a bit bad because he had not bought her anything... Felice had bought him a small bottle of perfume with a note 'Last time on Hogsmeade, Wille smelled this and said it smells like you, so I decided to buy it. Merry Christmas'. Merlin the girl was sweet, Simon really had to improve his friendship with the girl! When he smelled the fragrance, the smell was indeed something he would like to use.

But the last gift was the one, that Simon had waited the most.

He peeled the neat paper wrap, and it revealed a piece of parchment. Simon opened it with eager hands, but the paper was empty. He turned it on his hands several times, but nothing. It was just a parchment. His eyebrows furrowed, until he noticed a smaller piece of paper still inside of the wrappings. There was a note from Wille saying: 'Please write on it'.

Well, the note did not made Simon less confused, but he decided to make as Wille requested. We pulled his quill from his trunk and just wrote a simple but still effective:

"What a fuck?"

The words stayed there for a couple of seconds, until they disappeared. What the fuck was going on? Did Wille seriously bought him a trick parchment for a Christmas gift? A small anger started to rise in his chest. He had planned a lot about Wille's gift so that they maybe could stay in contact and he received a trick parchment!

But Simon's anger was not long lasting, because he almost had a heart attach next. He was still holding the parchment, though almost ready to throw it in the bin, when a sentence appeared on it from literal nothing.

"Hey baby, does this work as I planned?"

Simon's hands started to shake. Was this still something else... The words stood there maybe a minute until they vanished.

"Wille?", he wrote back with super shaky hands. The words disappeared, just like on the first time, but now he was just staring the paper with intensive eyes. He was too scared to even breathe. Could this be?

"Hey baby, it's me! I'm so happy this worked, you have no idea how pain in the ass this thing was to charm"

Simon's eyes started to water. They had had the exact same idea, when planning the Christmas presents. Only Wille did it on the wizard way and Simon on the muggle way. Tears started to escape from his eyes, and they dropped on the parchment. Even those disappeared, but he could not care. His heart was so warm and full of love suddenly.
