Simon woke up for a light which was way too bright.

A small gasp left from his lips, because despite his eyes being closed, the awful bright light hurt his eyes and head. He tried to cover his eyes with his hand, but for some reason it was way too hard and painful to move. By each passing second, he started to feel his body more and more, but it was not necessary a nice thing. His whole body ached and it felt like someone had drained a cement over him. A second groan left his lips.

"Simon? Simon my baby, are you waking up?", a warm female voice spoke suddenly next to him.

Simon could not process anything, but the voice was nice and comforting. This person definitely did not want anything bad for him. He just groaned again. It was too hard to form words. It was still too hard to even open eyes...

"Simon, I'm asking Healer to come. Please stay calm", the same warm voice said and next all Simon could hear was some footsteps. He was just about to slip back to the comfortable darkness, where he had been pulled away into this uncomfortable lightness and pain.

"Simon, Simon can you open your eyes? I know it hurts and you will get the potions in a minute. But first we have to check you", a second voice appeared next to him. This voice was not comfortable and warm like the previous-one had been. But it was not mean. Just persistent.

He just groaned again...

"Simon, you have to open your eyes so we know how to help you with the pain", the voice said again.

"Lights...", finally left from Simon's lips.

"What did you say?"

"The lights...", he whispered again, but it was almost masked by the painful gasp that left from his lips immediately after.

"I think it is the lights. Can you dim them? Simon has always been a bit light sensitive... Maybe the lights hurt his eyes?", the warm voice was pack.

Merlin Simon loved this person. They understood.

"Marlena, dim the lights please", the second voice was back and immediately that intensive white light started to disappear from Simon's eyes and only some yellow glow stayed. He breathed out in relief because his head felt immediately a bit better.

"Simon, can you now open your eyes? The lights are down", the second voice asked again.

It took him couple of tries to open them, but he succeeded eventually. Well, yeah he opened them, but that did not help him in any way to actually see... Everything was blurry as hell. He could see two (or maybe three?) figures next to him and he was most likely laying down on something. At least it felt like he was horizontally!

"Simon, can you see us?", someone asked, but Simon just blinked. He tried his best to get his eyes on focus. With some blinks it seemed like he was about to see a bit better but on the next blink things just blurred again.

"Blurry...", he mumbled and still just blinked.

"So you can see, it's just blurry?", the voice, Simon now could identify in his left side asked.

"Yeah...", he said and lifted his hand to rub his eyes. Oh, so now he was capable to move his hands at least!

"Okey, we will give you couple of potions. Can you say where is hurts?"

Simon was about to reply, but at the same second his head finally cleared. Everything hit him like a train. Wille, Linda, Kristina, Erik, Crucio, Avada Kedavra..

"Wille!! Mama!", he suddenly screamed and stood up to sit. But that only resulted a sharp pain just shoot through his body.

"Aargh...", left from his lips and his face grimaced in pain.
