It was an extremely harsh winter and now it was hotter than ever. The group scavenged for food and supplies in houses, going in and out. Most of the time they starved.

On a note positive note, killing walkers in the process became easier and easier for everybody, even Carl.

"What the hell is that?" Allison asked Daryl who was ripping apart feathers.

"Owl. Why, you want some?" He asked shoving the bird in her face. In disgust, she turned her head and crinkled her nose. She was an animal lover, so she couldn't really help it.

"Honestly, I think I could eat just about anything right now."

"Even me?" He asked.

"Just don't piss me off, Dixon, and we won't have to find out." She said smirking at him. He did the same.

Their relationship had began to grow strange, not to them but to everyone else. They'd flirt and mess with each other, thinking it was normal. Maggie and Glenn would then split up trying to get something out of the other, however, nothing came from it.

"You like him."

"You like her."

"No, he's repulsive and dirty."

"No, she's spoiled and stubborn."

This slowly became an every day event.

The group made shelter on the ground, either watching Daryl pick off the feathers of a bird or watching Carl try to open up a can of dog food.

Allison sighed placing her head in her hands. Frankly, she was starving, but not enough to eat dog food, which made her feel sorry for the boy.

Rick picked up the can and threw it against the wall in anger. The can clattered making everyone jump, even Daryl. Nobody spoke, as they were all defeated.

T-Dog got up from the window and pointed to outside. "Psst." He whispered over to them making Allison get up swiftly, gripping the dagger on her left hip and the large knife on her right.

She had become accustomed to throwing daggers, mostly just for boredom and fun. It took nearly 2 months for Daryl to teach her, but in the end, it was worth it.

They grabbed their belongings and headed out the back door. Daryl led the way waiting to feel Allison's arms wrap around him to start his engine of the bike. She didn't know why she liked riding it. Daryl said it was the "daddy's little rebel" in her, but she obviously didn't agree.

They stopped the vehicles to take a look at the map, searching for another safe haven. "We've got no place left to go." T-Dog said in defeat.

"When this herd meets up with this one, we'll be cut off. We'll never make it south.." Maggie said leaning on the car.
