THE prison had really came along. It became home. Allison was mostly in charge of the gardening, which made sense to her.

"Don't wake me up." Allison groaned as Daryl shook her shoulders.

"Wake up, you need breakfast."

"Sleep is more nutritional." She said, rolling over with her back facing him.

He leaned in, pressing his body against hers. "You're dumb." Daryl kissed her shoulder and got out of bed, putting a shirt over his head.

"Worst part of my morning." She complained, seeing him put clothes on.

Over the course of the 8 months, Allison and Daryl had become quite intimate with each other. She hated telling him that she was a virgin, nearly crying from embarrassment, but he was extremely comforting (only making jokes after the fact).

It wasn't a special love ritual like you see in the movies. But to Allison, it was still very special to her. They're relationship had grown rapidly, besides one portion. Neither of them had said "I love you" yet. Obviously, they loved each other, but Allison wasn't sure she was "in love" yet.

Daryl laughed at her watching her change out of her pajamas into every day clothes as they walked outside together. They were very subtle when it came to PDA. Everyone knew they were together, but they never really showed it. Hugs, cheek kisses, and small gestures like touching their back or arm was all anyone would see out of the two.

"Morning, Daryl. Morning, Allison." People yelled at them making Allison giggle. He was always so embarrassed about how many people wanted to say hello to him.

"Smells good." He told Carol.

"Just so you know Allison liked you first." Carol said winking at her.

"Stop." He threw a piece of meat in his mouth. "You know, Rick brought in a lot of them, too."

"Not recently. Give the stranger sanctuary, keeping people fed, you're gonna have to learn to live with the love." Carol said.

Daryl rolled his eyes. He only accepted love from Allison, really. It was hard wanting it from anyone else. He didn't care about anyone else's opinion but hers.

"I need show you two something." Carol said. "Patrick, you want to take over?"

"Yes ma'am." He said coming up. "Uh Mr. Dixon. I just wanted to say thank you for bringing that deer back yesterday. It was a real treat, sir. And I'd be honored to shake your hand."

Allison smiled but it turned into a frown as Daryl kicked each one of his fingers before shaking the poor boys hand. They walked off and Allison slapped him on the chest. "You're gross."

"I thought you liked when I did that."

She gasped, hoping Carol didn't hear, "Stop."

"I love when you get embarrassed."
