Stevie didn't think her body could stretch the way it had stretched. She was a tiny, petite, person and here she was five months pregnant and she already felt like a house, even though her belly wasn't that big. It was very evident that she was pregnant but it wasn't this massive baby bump yet. Knowing that she had planned to tell the world about her pregnancy after they found out the gender, she opted to dress nicely.She was wearing a pair of maternity skinny jeans, a white chiffon maternity blouse and a tan, gardenia, and brown paisley kimono. On her feet she was wearing a pair of high heeled brown suede boots. She had curled her hair and though she was going alone to her appointment she was excited. Her OBGYN had suffered a family emergency, so they moved Stevie's appointment up to a Wednesday at 2:30 instead of the original Friday at 4:30.  School wasn't over until 3 and it was Quiz Bowl Team day. 

She was laying on the exam table, she had taken her kimono off and her shirt was up under her breasts. The doctor was seemingly taking forever. 

"Please tell me it's going to work." Stevie puffs out a breath of air. 

"I'm just making sure." Her doctor smiles. 

"God, hurry up I'm anxious." 

"Well Stephanie, it looks like you're having a sweet baby girl." 

"A girl?" Stevie gasps.

"A girl."

Stevie was on cloud nine as she walked into Lindsey's classroom. She recognized most of the students as most of them were returners. There were a couple of freshman that she didn't know so when they few of them gasped and starting whispering she didn't really think much of it. 

"Guys, what's going on?" Lindsey asks, his back was away from the door. 

"Stevie's here." Percy smiles. 

"Stevie's here...hey what are you doing here?" Lindsey asks finally looking at the door.

"I just got back from my appointment...I got something for you." She hands him the box. Before going to the school she pit-stopped at the store. 

"Oh right your appointment." Lindsey looks at her. "Okay, so...Freshman that are clearly filming in here, the reason I had you sign a waver is because Ms. Nicks and I are...together."

"You're dating Mr. Buckingham?" One of the Freshman calls out. 

"I'm engaged to Mr. Buckingham, and I'm having a baby with Mr. Buckingham...But you CAN'T tell anyone until I tell the world." Stevie points out. "I'm here because I just found out what we're having and I couldn't wait until they got home to tell them." 

"Open it dad." Stella cheers standing up and going to hug Stevie. 

He just chuckles and digs in the bag before he pulls out a pair of pink coveralls with little red flowers all over it. 

"It's a girl!" Stella gasps.

"It's a little girl." Stevie nods.

"I'm a girl dad." Lindsey shakes his head.

"Did you want a boy?" Another Sophomore, Jose, asks. 

"Well I already have a girl, so I thought naturally the next one would be a little boy...but no, I'm so happy. I have a feeling she's going to look just like her mother." Lindsey wraps Stevie in a hug and kisses her head. 

"Okay, so I do plan to announce my pregnancy soon," She goes to erase the board, "I hope this isn't important."

"No go ahead." Lindsey motions. 

In her perfect loopy cursive she writes Baby Girl Buckingham, February 2013. Then she poses herself, Lindsey, and Stella under the writing with the onesie and she has one of the students take the picture.

After dinner that night, Lindsey, Stella, and Stevie were sitting on the couch. Stevie had her feet up on Lindsey's lap as he was in the middle and he was rubbing her feet. They were watching E News, and Stevie choked on her water when the announcer spoke up. 

"Eagles Front Man, Don Henley announced on Social Media today that he and girlfriend Sharon Summerall would be getting married in the New Year. Summerall rose to fame when she and Don Henley were caught having an affair back in 2011. Henley was engaged to Rock Icon Stevie Nicks at the time and the affair heralded the end to their relationship. They would reunite briefly at the beginning of the year to celebrate a grammy win for their duet, Leather and Lace." 

"He moves kind of fast." Lindsey smirks.

"It's true." Stevie sighs pulling up her social media and showing Lindsey the announcement on Don's instagram. 

"Are you okay?" 

"Lindsey I'm fine...I've moved on. I'm starting a life with you. Don Henley means nothing to me...but." 

"But?" Lindsey asks

"But, I don't think I want to announce the pregnancy now though...I don't want to look like I'm trying to top him." Stevie shakes her head. 

"So what's your plan?" Stella asks.

"My plan is...Lindsey, you and I, and Stella go to the Court House on Friday after school, and we get married. Then when this baby is born, we can announce both of them together. Maybe post a picture of the baby, making both of our wedding rings visible." Stevie looks at Lindsey. 

"But you wanted..." 

"I know what I wanted, and we can still have a big party after the baby is born. But I want to be married to you when she is born." Stevie looks at Lindsey. 

"Okay. But aren't people going to notice that you're pregnant?" Lindsey places his hand on her very visible baby bump. 

"Not if I hide out. I have no obligations for the rest of the year. If I stay in the house, no one is really going to notice right?" Stevie asks.

"I guess not, but aren't you going to get a little bored?" Lindsey inquires. 

"I have a piano, I can write some songs." She shrugs. 

"So I guess we're getting married on Friday then." Lindsey chuckles. 

"I guess we are." 

"Stevie, let's go pick out your dress." Stella stands up and starts making her way to the staircase.

Stevie really couldn't fit into many of her clothing because of the new baby bump. But they were able to squeeze her into a white midi long sleeve turtle neck dress so it was decided that, that was the dress that she was going to get married in. For now.
