Stevie had made herself comfortable on the couch watching some stupid movies wearing a pink maternity hoodie and a pair of black leggings. She was now, well into her pregnancy at 32 weeks along. She and Lindsey had done a nursery up. They kept it the same white color that it was, but the bedding set they got was a light blue with white daisy's on it. Their crib was white, as was their dressing and they got a daisy Matt for changing. There was a light blue fuzzy rug and a white arm chair next to a white nightstand. On the night stand was a Daisy lamp. They had even toyed with the idea of naming her Daisy but Stella didn't like it so they were looking at other baby names as well.
She had spent most of her time writing songs, because she was trying to keep herself busy. She had avoided social media and as unusual as it was, her cell phone had been on silent. She had trusted Lindsey and Stella with getting their Christmas decorations because she didn't really want to be in public and she was having Karen take care of all of her Christmas gifts. She'd wrap them of course, but Karen was going to get the paper and the actual gifts. But they would be decorating that weekend and she was so excited to be celebrating another Holiday with Lindsey. They had flown to Arizona to spend Thanksgiving with her family, but this time it was actually their Holiday.
"STEPH!" She hears Lindsey call out and she scans the wall too see what time is on the clock. It was a quarter after five and she probably should've been cooking dinner but she wasn't. She had been having Braxton Hicks contractions so she was resting.
"I'M IN THE LIVING ROOM!" She calls back.
"Karen and Irving are here." Lindsey leads them into the living room.
"What are you doing here?" Stevie inquires looking at her team.
"We've been trying to call you all day." Karen shakes her head.
"I'm in hiding, my phone is on silent. Why, what's wrong?"
"Nothing, nothing is wrong...You've been nominated for another Grammy."
"What!" Stevie gasps.
"Silver Springs is nominated for a Grammy."
"You're kidding?" Stevie asks.
"No, I'm not. And they want you to perform it."
"When are the Grammy's?" Stevie asks.
"January 27th." Irving tells her.
"Ugh, my due date is February 10th." Stevie shakes her head.
"So you'll still have a couple of weeks." Karen tells her.
"I don't know if I feel comfortable performing at nine months pregnant." Stevie stands up with a tad bit of struggle and crosses her arms over her bump.
"They're in Los Angeles this year, if that helps any." Irving shrugs.
"No, no it doesn't." Stevie shakes her head.
"Look, you have until Christmas to decide if you want to perform or not, just think about it. We'll leave you alone." Irving tries to assure her.
"But I..."
"Just think about it." Karen plops down onto the sofa.

They had ordered a pizza for dinner. Stella was sitting at the peninsula in the kitchen. Lindsey was leaning up against the stove and Stevie was hunched over the peninsula standing as they all ate.
"So are you going to go to the Grammy's?" Stella inquires.
"Oh Stella I don't know. Of course I want to go to the Grammys and I want to perform at the grammy's but I'll be due at any second. I don't know if it's necessarily smart or safe to do."
"Steph, I think you should do it. They're in LA. If we have to leave after your performance because you feel like you need to we can. First babies are usually late anyways. I think you'll be fine. Look, you told me that the first Grammy you've been nominated for was with Don Henley. Now you have the chance to prove that you're just as good without him." Lindsey shrugs.
"I don't guys...I'm just not really comfortable with the idea." With that, Stevie threw away her crust and made her way into the living room to turn on E News. It was their nightly tradition.
"Good Evening, the Grammy Nominations are in..." The announcer starts as Lindsey and Stella join her.
"Stevie Nicks is nominated for song of the year again, with social media raving about it...But, Stevie Nicks disappeared after Don Henley's engagement announcement. Do we think she's upset about the engagement." One of the announcers asks.
"I don't know...She announced that she was in a relationship with another man after the Grammy's from last year, and she did just get done with a giant world tour. She might just be on vacation."
"True, but Stevie Nicks has a heavy social media presence and she's not really posted anything since Don's engagement announcement."
"If she shows up at the grammy's I guess our questions will be answered."
"I have to go to the grammy's don't I?" Stevie looks at her husband and her step daughter sitting next to her on the couch.
"You have to go to the grammy's." Stella states.
"Maybe you can do like a surprise performance. Don't walk the red carpet, just perform your song and surprise the audience." Lindsey suggests.
"Oh it would be a surprise." She sighs her hands going to her belly.
Lindsey gasps and places his hands on her stomach as well and gets close to it before starting his nightly conversation with the baby girl.
"Hey little girl...you're going to help momma surprise the whole entire world. So what you need to do is stay put until at least February 1st. You can come out and meet us anytime after February 1st, but you better not make an appearance a second sooner."
Stevie just laughs as Lindsey talks to her belly and then she looks at Stella. "Stella, would you like to come with me and your dad to the Grammy's?"
"Can I?" She asks.
"Sure...it'll be a late night, and you'll have to go to school in the morning but I don't see why you wouldn't be able to come with us."
Stella cheered and then crawled over her dad to hug Stevie.

FanfictionI got the idea for this story, after watching Marry Me, the new Jennifer Lopez movie...It's not the same by any means, but it has a similar concept. I highly recommend the movie. This story takes place in the present day (2010s) but take 1973 Stevie...
