Chapter 2: strange saviors

Indigo eye's widened as the leg she was holding onto began to dissolve, she retracted her hand staring at the demon. Jasper blinked backing up staring as the demon growled angrily, shouting insults at their..saviors. Soon the body was no more and the two siblings looked over at the two people. One was a girl pink hair with greens tips,  her hair was done in two braids. Her eyes met theirs, they were filled with concern. The other one had a not so friendly expression more angry staring at the demon in spite. His face was covered and scars and had white spiky hair. The girl quickly sprinted over to them with urgency  "On my!" she squealed "you two are so injured" she quickly said. Indigo attempted to stand, she was in shock and the pain from the demon's claws hurt pretty badly. The pink-haired girl quickly grabbed her shoulder to help her up off the ground. Indigo was slightly taken aback by this girl's grip but was happy to be off the ground. Jasper looked over at the guy who hasn't spoke yet, he was putting away his katana. Why did he have that? they both had that infact. "who are you people?" Jasper suddenly asked in response the guy snorted "not even a thank you?" Jasper rolled his eyes in response, honestly probably not the best time to give attitude however to Jasper there was always time to give attitude. "um..thank you.." Indigo spoke up when she saw the guy looked like he was about to yell at Jasper, she could already tell that guy had a temper. "You're welcome!" said the pink-haired girl, smiling "and to answer your question-" the girl was cut off by the guy who looked like sliver the hedgehog. "That guy hasn't said thank you yet." he said annoyed, now Jasper would probably have said think you if the guy asked nicely but now that guy is telling him to say it he doesn't want to. "nah." Jasper replied casually "Jasper please just say 'thank you'" Indigo said not wishing to cause conflict. "listen here you little shi-" the guy began "hey-hey-! lets all calm down" the girl said with a nervous smile. "we really should get these two to a hospital or the nearest demon slayer rest stop!" she said, trying to defuse the situation. "We will answer your questions afterwards alright? Am Mitsuri by the way! That's Sanemi!" Mitsuri said "I can introduce myself." Sanemi said annoyed. Mitsuri helped both the siblings walk with their injuires knowing Sanemi wasn't gonna help.

They arrived at a house, surprisingly Jasper and Indigo did not pass out from blood loss! Mitsuri knocked on the door and a young lady opened it "oh demon slayers! o-oh Hashira! come in, come in!" she said stepping aside. "Demon slayer?" Indigo whispered to her brother "A hashira? what is this a cult?" he whispered back. Indigo snickered "they sacrifice demons-" "I can hear you both" Sanemi said abruptly and annoyed. "Your no fun." Jasper said "your annoying." the guy snapped back making Jasper gasped dramatically. The girl who opened the door quickly came with bandages "my name is Aina!" she greeted "come!" She led them to a guest room and handed them bandages. "can you two put on bandages?" Mitsuri asked. "yea we can." Jasper replied. "Alright so what are you guys?" he asked while wrapping a bandage around his wrist. "we are demon slayers! We slay demons to protect people! Me and Sanemi are hashira!" the girl spoke. "what's a hashira?" Indigo said looking up from bandaging herself.  "The highest rank in the demon slayer corps! There are nine hashira!" Mitsuri explained. "Demon slayer corps-?" Jasper asked "It's what us demon slayers as a corp are called, their is a leader as well! He hosts entrance exams to become demon slayers!" "how do we become demon slayers?" Indigo asked. Sanemi let out a very noticeable and annoyed sigh. "oh! are you intrested in becoming demon slayers?" Mitsuri asked. The siblings whispered amongst themselves before looking at her "yes!"  "alright so you need to learn a breathing style." "what's-" "it's something to help you slay demons. You learn it from someone who already knows it. So you will need to find a mentor." Mitsuri said. "Can you guys train us?"  Indigo asked. Sanemi suddenly snorted "You guys think you can be trained by hashira? oh please you probably wouldn't be able to handle the training!"  Sanemi said looking amused. "We totally could! Do NOT underestimate us!" jasper said, crossing his arms. Mitsuri furrowed her eyebrows "we don't mean it as a insult it's just hashira training is really difficult-" "speak for yourself. I mean it as a insult." Sanemi said, staring dagger at the two siblings. "probably couldn't even train us. That's why you don't want to." Jasper said, attempting to rile up Sanemi. "I would be a GREAT mentor. You just wouldn't be able to handle the training." Sanemi said "nah your just using that as a excuse" Jasper said, a smirk forming on his face. "You know what? Fine I'll train you. But am going to be laughing once you decide to quite because it's to hard." Sanemi said. "Um I guess I'll train this one since your training him, you guys seem really sure of yourselves....also what are your names-?" Mitsuri asked. "Indigo and Jasper!" Indigo said, honestly she felt happy she was getting trained by Mitsuri, Sanemi seemed scary. 

Pillow secrets:

-If Sanemi and Jasper did swing at each other, Indigo would be quick to jump in and defend her brother even if before she was trying to stop the fight. They would both get beat up trying to fight a Hashira. 

-If Jasper did swing he would not regret it despite the fact he would most have a lot of bruises, maybe have a few stab wounds here and there.

-Jasper trying to fight people is a normal occurrence

-Sanemi is low-key embarrassed that he was convinced with the tactic Jasper used to get him to mentor him.

-Mitsuri found their bickering funny until she realized things were about to go down
