A panicked scream came from the demon as it's body flailed around frantically trying to grasp it's head. Indigo's expression softened as she turned towards the demon, her eyes filled with pity as she gently grasped the demon's hand. "Please I don't want to die-" The demon's sobs were cut off as it's head began to turn to dust at an alarming speed. The hand Indigo once held was nothing more than specks of dust as a gentle breeze whooshed it away. Jasper stared down at what happened, watching it casually, waiting patiently as if Indigo was merely late for something. He sighed before tilting his head slightly "You know you can't keep doing that." He spoke briskly but his speech slightly slurred as both exhaustion and pain came over him. They were running off of pure adrenaline but realization now came upon them. Their clothes was stained with blood along with the ground. Jasper lifted his head up slightly, looking around. It looked like a bloodly battle felid, blood droplets scattered everywhere before he fell. The ground felt a nice warm welcome to the face as he past out. "Jasper!" Indigo said quickly as she crawled over, her body ached as more blood dripped from her open wounds. Her eyes fluttered slightly as her hands slipped from under her, the darkness taking her as well. Zenitsu began to panic watching this happen. He began frantically sobbing as he rushed over, tripping over and falling on his face as he hit his head on a rock, blacking out.

The man that they were protecting stood up "You got to be kidding me." he muttered, rubbing his temple as he hesitantly walked over. "These three are lucky there is a safe house near here. Ugh why does this have to be my job." He voice his complaints out only for the animals near by to listen. He grabbed their wrists and began to drag them, not carry them drag them. "What the actual fu- do they feed you guys back at the demon slayer corps?" the man panted as he heaved them forward. He knew of the demon slayer stories he was told to as a lad but never believed them until know. The house he was dragging them to claimed demons were real but no one usually believed her, good thing she did say something or he wouldn't know what to do with the trio.

The man got to a door and knocked on it. A sleepy girl peeked her head out, spotting them. "Bring them in!" She said urgently, stepping aside. The man pulled the trio in as he could hear the girl rummaging her frantically, knocking multiple stuff over in the process. She came back with a med kit.

Indigo awoke to the sun in her eyes "hmmmm." she mumbled turning over, pulling the covers over her head. She then felt a hand on her shoulder, surprised she used her hand to swat at the person's face. "ow. ok." Jasper said annoyed, backing away. Indigo snorted before sitting up "Sorry- OH MY OW-" She hissed clutching the side of the bed as she felt like lighting just went through her. "Yeah don't sit up so fast dumbas-" Jasper replied, leaning on the wall, finding amusement in his sister's suffering. "Oh shut up-" Indigo snapped, rolling her eyes as she smiled. "pft-" Jasper snorted before he saw Indigo's confusion. "Wait where are we-? where's Zenitsu?" she asked. "Him? I don't know probably outside. As for where we are a demon slayer house." he explained. "Oh." Is all Indigo said as she stood up.

"Where you going?" Jasper asked, tilting his head. "Outside, going to find Zenitsu, gonna make sure he didn't fall off a cliff." Indigo replied opening the door. "I'll come along got nothing better to do." Jasper replied following after. She blinked seeing what was happening Zenitsu was clinging onto a girl "who's that? Is she the one who took us in?" Indigo asked. Jaspershook his head "No, the girl who took us in went to go run errands and told us we could leave whenever. And I also don't know who that guy is." Jasper said, point to a red her guy, seemingly trying to apologie for Zenitsu's actions.

Indigo's eyes widened as she bolted forward with Jasper not far behind, he had grown use to her randomly taking off by now. "hey hey!" Indigo said as she helped the red haired guy hold the girl back. "I thought you liked me!" Zenitsu cried. "HUH!? When did I say that you where crouched on the side of the road I went to check on you!" The girl snapped, trying to attack Zenitsu. "Calm down!" Indigo and the red haired guy said in unison. The girl huffed and calmed down, storming away.

Indigo quickly bowed "Am sorry for the trouble he has caused!" she spoke quickly. The guy smiled "oh it's fine. Who are you guys?" He asked, tilting his head. "Am Indigo!" she chirped. "Jasper." he replied, he had been watching his happen in the sidelines amused. "Nice to meet you am Tanjiro!" He spoke with a grin.

pillow's secrets-

-If the 'fight' had actually gotten serious Jasper would have stepped in

-Zentisu had immediately started complaining about being treated like a child after "sorry about him" comment

-Indigo regretted running off so suddenly because even if she didn't act like it her injuires causes her to feel a lot of pain

-Jasper when he woke up thought they had been kidnapped and nearly attackted the poor girl who took them in. She explained what happened then he calmed down.
