The days past rather slowly after the hashira had left the two. The two siblings chatted excitedly about going to be demon slayers and being trained by hashira! They obsessed over this purely so they didn't have to remember the horrific sight of their dead family.  The two had even borrowed sticks from Aina to practice sword fighting and swinging it around. Aina, the poor girl was desperately trying to stop those two from making their injuries worse. Really they were acting like 5 years old on crack and were fighting with those swords as if they were both tiny, more aggressive  batmen. Honestly you could mistake it for hatred for each other if it wasn't for the fact you would hear a smack and a panicked 'are you okay!?'.

Aina let out a sigh as she heard a crash, thankfully the hashira were going to take them for training today. She carefully walked to the room where she heard a crash, the sight was something she saw often. Jasper was attempting to choke Indigo while Indigo was trying to claw his eyes out with the stick she had. "Do you two want food before you have to leave for training?" Aina asked, the two almost instantly looked over and quickly rushed over. Indigo had the most excited grin on her face while chanting "food! food!" with the glee of a 5 year old. Jasper pushed her out of the way "first come, first serve!" he mocked while Indigo chased after him, the two were in a fist fight yet somehow walking perfectly fine as if they were taking a normal stroll. Aina gave plates and began to rice into the bowls.  The two sat at the table like impatient children and instantly started eating. They gave a 'thank you!' to Aina before they started to devour the rice as if they haven't ate in a week.

A knock was heard on the door, Aina rushed over, the relief was visible on her face. The two rushed over nearly tripping on the way there. Mitsuri looked over "hello!" she greeted them. "Let's go already, I have a mission alter tonight and I want this training to be over with." Sanemi spoke, he scoffed at the end of his sentence. "Alrighty then! Thanks for looking after them! let's go you two!" Mitsuri said as she motioned them to follow. The walking was long, Jasper kept asking 'are we there yet?' while poking Sanemi. Sanemi proceeded to roughly smack him on the back of his head each time more aggressive. They arrived at a training area eventrually "Indigo!~ follow me!" Mitsuri chirped, leading over to what Indigo assumed was the area Mitsuri chose for them. "Alight you d*mn brat over here." Sanemi said more the annoyed that Jasper had kept pestering him on the way here.

Mitsuri smiled "alright lets do some warm ups! follow my lead!" she spoke happily. It started with some simple stretches then laps. Oh boy the laps. Indigo couldn't sprint she had to run, she had to run 50 laps as a warm up. Mitsuri had noted that they would be testing some basic stuff as speed, strenght, durablity, ect. before actual training. Indigo was trying to only take a few gasps of air to not show how wore out she was. "You're quite fast! Your movements remind me of a cheetah!" Mitsuri spoke excitedly seemingly admiring how well she was doing for a newbie. "Now then follow after me!" MItsuri said. MItsuri was testing Indigo's flexibility since that what she specialized in and Indigo would need that for MItsuri's breathing style. Indigo got leg cramps, arms cramps you name it through this enitre thing. Indigo entire body ached but they weren't done. Indigo had to swing a wooden sword around like 300 times. It wasn't as bad since she praticed with sticks but honestly she was already tired so it was quite hard to not fall over and give up.

Sanemi had Jasper stretch so he wouldn't pull a muscle then had Jasper give him 50 push ups. Jasper would not do it correctly apparently so he would get a scolding from Sanemi and try again. "If you weren't new I would make you start over from 0." Sanemi would say annoyed at him. Jasper huffed as he stood up, He narrowed his eyes at Sanemi who spoke eventually "you did alright." Jasper assumed that was his way of saying 'good job!' and proudly smirked at that. He then got his in the back of the head because his smirk was annoying to Sanemi. Next was simply durability, Jasper thought of this as a excuse for Sanemi to beat the sh*t out of him. He saw it as fighting with his sister, a simple spar to see how long he could withstand attacks. Jasper had a few bruises and a broken nose, he didn't see this as a big deal as Indigo one time accidently broke his arm during one of their fights when they were younger. Jasper was of course then told to practice his sword form with a wooden sword.

MItsuri called for a break and offered to take them out to eat. The two agreed rather fast. Mitsuri walked with them to a place and ordered them some Mochi and really whatever they wanted. Indigo and Jasper were very happy with this and chowed down. Mitsuri got done with her bowl and thought for a moment "You two can't stay at demon slayer resting spots the entire time so I'll be dropping you off at the butterfly estate!" "the what?"
