Chapter Thirty-Five| Destiny
The sleep after you have just been fucked by the man, you swore you wouldn't have feelings for again, is like heaven. I woke up this morning, floating on a cloud. My legs, were a little sore, as soon as I opened my eyes I feel the heat rising between my legs, just at the memory of last night.
After brushing my teeth, Lily came up to my door to tell me, we were having breakfast on the patio. Totally forgot about my family, cringing at the thought of my family probably hearing me moan Trevor's name loudly, last night.
Still in my nightie from last night, wrapping myself in a hoodie, considering it's a little chilly this morning. Pretty surprising for Miami's normal weather.
When I made it to the kitchen, my mother and Diana were grabbing glass cups and large jugs of orange and cranberry juices. When they noticed me, they both smile and say 'good morning' to me.
I respond, "Good Morning," grabbing one of the large jugs of juices and taking it outside.
Lily sat at the table, sipping some orange juice I poured for her. The boys were nowhere to be found, thank the lord almighty.
"Dan, tell the boys to come to eat their breakfast," Diana yells towards the backyard.
Sitting down next to Lily poured myself a glass of cranberry juice, sat back in my chair, and took a sip. When a herd of guys storms towards the table. Which is a feast by the way. Stacks of homemade waffles and pancakes, large plates of eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns, and a bowl of grits and a plate of biscuits.
What time did they get up to make all of this?
Just as the boys were about to sit down and eat, my mother scolded them, "Uhh, y'all better go wash y'all hands before you touch any of this food," she pops Marcus's hand back. As they go wash their hands, I help Lily fill her plate with eggs, bacon, and pancakes. Then, I began to fill my plate with food.
The chair next to me pulled out, and Trevor sat down. I focus on the food, trying to be fazed by his actions, knowing he's watching my every move.
"Des," Lily calls out my name. "Can you cut up my pancakes?"
"Of course."
Placed my plate in front of me, turned away from Trevor, and helped Lily with her food. After I'm done, I start to eat my food, engrossed in the conversation at the table before my cell phone vibrated in my lap.
I sat back in my chair, checking my phone. It was an Instagram message notification for Carter, I totally forgot I gave him my Instagram. He's inviting me to a party on South Beach, that's tomorrow.
"Des, you know how I feel about phones at the table," My mother spoke up, taking me away from my phone.
"Sorry, Ma, Carter just texted me," the words flew out of my mouth, I didn't realize what I was saying until I notice Trevor tense up next to me.
"You two, seem to be getting close," Diana says.
"Uhh, yeah, I guess," I quickly pick up my glass of juice.
"So, what did he say?" my mother asked.
Uh, this ain't show and tell time.
"He, uh, he just invited me to this party on South Beach, nothing crazy."
Eric spoke up, "That was nice of him, so are you gonna go?"
"I don't know yet," I state.
"You should go," Nick said. "So then you can take us," he said, gesturing to him and Marcus.
