Hikori was sitting at the long dinning table; to the left of Irei while Dai was at Hikori's right. Hikori looked up and down the table; on the other side of Dai was Hinote with Hika and Kane next to him. At the end was an elderly woman with white hair. Across from Hika was Yuki while Naruto was across from Kane.
Next to Kane was Dabi, Natsou, Fuyumi and Hawks. At the opposite end was the retired pro hero; Endeavour. Across from Fuyumi was a woman with green hair, then Deku, Shoto, Rekka and finally, Tsubasa was next to Irei.
How the family managed to squeeze everyone at the table was a mystery, even if Dai and Hikori weren't there. As they ate, Endeavour spoke up.
"Who's your friends?" He asked while taking a fork full of rice, looking at Irei and Hinote simultaneously.
"Oh...!" Irei began, slightly startled. "This is my boyfriend; Hikori Kaminari and that's Hinote's boyfriend; Dai Togata."
"You're both sons of pro heroes?" Endeavour continued.
"Y-yes, Sir...!" Hikori stammered while Dai nodded quickly. "My parents are Chargebolt and Mind Meddler while Togata's parents are Lemillion and Suneater."
"Mirio and Amajiki?!" Nejire beamed, looking at the boy. "How are they?! I haven't talked to them in ages!"
"They're good." Dai replied shyly. "Papa's has anxiety attacks slot though. And while Dad helps him through it, I look after my little sister otherwise she gets really scared and overwhelmed."
"That's understandable. We went through a lot as third years. We have a but if a joke and say that it was Deku and Shoto's class's fault as nothing really happened until they became UA first years."
"But you love us...!" Deku smiled.
"Abso-fucking-lutely."
"Fucking!" Tsubasa chirped with a grin and flutter of his wings
"Tsubasa! We don't say fucking!" Hawks scolded, pointing an accusational finger in the boy's direction
"Sorry, Papa..."
Hikori and Dai looked at each other with side glances. Tonight was off to a good start. They began chatter once more when Endeavour decided to speak up once more.
"Isn't Kaminari the kid who's grandfather attacked Irei's preschool?"
"ENDEVOUR!"
"ENJI!"
"FATHER!"
"Can't you just keep your fucking trash hole shut for 5 minutes, Endevourhoe?!" Dabi snapped, despite the fact that Tsubasa was going to copy.
"Wasn't the Kaminari family the ones that Izuku and Shoto refused to have anything to do with?!" Endeavour pressed
"Father. I know you've changed but it doesn't mean you can be a flaming trash-heap infront of your grandkids and their friends!" Shoto snapped. "Because at the moment, your dickhead side is coming back out again."
"I think I'm going out to get some air. Come on Togata." Hikori said suddenly, standing up and taking a very confused yet grateful Togata with him.
Once outside, Hikori felt like he could breath properly. Togata seemed just as relived.
"That was eventful." Togata said sarcastically. "And we only just started dinner."
"..."
"You OK, Kaminari? Endeavour seemed to have a lot to say about your family."
"I'm fine. Don't... Do t worry about it, 'Kay?"
"Alright. If you say so. I won't press on matters that are sensitive to you or that don't really concern me in that respect."
"Thanks, Togata."
The boys sat outside for a little longer before Irei and Hinote joined them outside. Irei hugged Hikori from behind, kneeling on the deck and arms around his boyfriend's neck.
"I'm so sorry about my grandfather, Hikori...!" Irei began. "He can be a real fucking asshole sometimes."
"Don't worry about it...!" Hikori said softly. "But I'm not really hungry anymore..."
"That's fine. My grandfather has that affect on people."
"Heh..."
"Are you alright, Dai?" Hinote spoke up.
"I'm fine, Hin!" Togata smiled brightly. "I dragged out to keep Kaminari company but if I'm being honest? I was getting a little uncomfortable with the atmosphere."
After a few more moments, the four of them headed back inside to try and make something of the rest of the night.

"Well, tonight went smoothly." Hikori said with sarcasm.
"Yeah... Sorry about that." Irei replied, rubbing the back of his neck.
The while time, Endeavour was being a bitch, Rekka had set the kitchen on fire. Don't know how but she did, Tsubasa kept copying everyone and ended up chasing Togata with a knife. The Hado twins were acting like the twins from the shining, Yuki was pretending to be Elsa while the adults tried to calm everything down while arguing and Hika had just given up at that point and let the chaos continue to rain.
The only good things that came out of it was spending time with Irei and learning about his other cousins' quirks.

His quirk is exactly like Nejire's except it doesn't just come from his hands and feet; it comes from his whole body. As it's a strongly powerful adaption of his mother's quirk, he has to wear a compression suit at all times
Hikori had to admit. Their quirks were pretty powerful. Hinote had started to get really overwhelmed so Dai had taken him back to the dorms early. As they stood outside, the house, saying their good byes, Eri had turned up to pick up her nephew and take him back to UA as Irei was going to stay home for the night.
Just as Hikori was about to leave, Irei grabbed him by his hand, spun him and pressed his lips against Hikori's. He was supposed to say the least but his shocked expression softened into one of compassion. Hikori melted into the kiss. Once the boy's seperated, they looked at each other's lips before their eyes fluttered up to meet the other's.
With a warm blush on both their faces, Irei turned into the house and exchanged a soft good bye. Hikori wore a semi-stunned expression the whole way to his Aunt's car. Once he hope din the front passenger seat, he looked at his aunt, still trying to process what had happened.
"Irei... Kissed me..." He said with slight confusion. "My PTSD boyfriend, whom doesn't like being touched and has trauma from a past relationship, just kissed me... On the lips..."
"He sure did, Kiddo." Eri smiled, not taking her eyes off the road.
"Wow...!"
Hikori still could t believe it. He didn't believe it when he returned back to the dorms. He didn't but when he stayed up till 2:30 that night. He didn't believe it when he managed to fall asleep. He still didn't believe it when the scene replayed over and over in his head and in his dreams. Only when he woke up an hour later, while staring at the ceiling, did he eventually believe what had happened.
"I kissed Irei..."
