🚨 BELOVED CHARACTER DEATH🚨
Saturday came quicker that Irei thought. He had managed to find Hikori but the boy seemed off. They had a few more incidents with blood writing on windows but that was it. Hikori hadn't said a thing to him and Irei was respecting his privacy.
Irei, Iida, Adrien, Shiro and Kirishima all stood at the gates of the school, waiting for Hikori and Minoskie. Irei had informed the group that he had invited the Support Course boy and the other's were happy to have him come with.
"MT!" Came a voice. The group turned to see a boy with brown spikey hair and diamond patterned bandana ran over; waving his hand.
"Hey, Minoskie!" Irei smiled as he stopped before him. He turned to his other friends. "Minoskie? This is Iida, Shiro, Adrien and Kirishima."
"Nice to meet you all! Thanks for letting me tag along!"
"No problem!" Iida beamed. They then looked behind the group to see Hikori heading over. "Hey, Kaminari!"
"..." Hikori looked up as he wandered over but his gaze landed on Minoskie. "Who's this?"
"Oh!" Shiro gasped. "This is Minoskie! He's from the support course. MT invited him to hang with us today."
"Oh... Cool. I'm Hikori Kaminari."
"Nice to meet you."
"Are we leaving or what, you damn extras?!" Kirishima growled.
The group nodded and began their small walk to the nearby arcade.
--
The group were at the arcade for well over 2 hours. Shiro had challenged Kirishima to a racing game while Adrien was, trying, to win a prize for Iida at the skill tester. Minoskie and Irei were playing Dance Dance Revolution and Hikori? Well, he was sitting at a table and staring at his phone while eating some fries.
After a few moments, Kirishima was cursing under her breath with a blush as Shiro walked next to her, laughing his ass off. Adrien joined them with Iida as they had a blue bear plushie in her arms. Irei and Minoskie followed shortly after and sat down with the others. Kirishima stole a fry and Irei placed a kiss on Hikori's cheek. The red-white-green male looked at the other boy with concern.
"You OK, Hikori?" Irei questioned. "You've been quiet off for a few days now. Everything going alright?"
"Yeah..." Hikori placed his phone on suspend, placed it down and dragged his hands down his face. "I'm just a bit stressed at the moment."
"Alright. I'm here to talk if need, ya know."
"I know...!" An alert lit up his phone screen. Looking at it, Hikori's faced turned to one of horror. He picked it up and went to leave, not looking at his friends. "I just gotta step outside for a minute..."
Outside, Hikori called his Dad. He had gotten a message that demanded that Hikori was to call him. When he did, his dad was sniffing and crying.
"Dad...?" Hikori began, panic starting to rise. "Is everything alright...?"
"Hey buddy..." Denki sobbed over the phone. "Something's happened... How quickly can you come home?"
"Uh... I'm out with friends at the moment. Why? What happened?"
"....Grandpa Hizashi died from a heart attack..."
Hikori's eyes widened, his jaw slacked and his phone fell from his grip; screen cracking as it hit the concrete. Tears pooled in his eyes and if anyone looked at him, they would say they were shaking. Everything drowned out and he heard his heart beating in his ears with a deep drumming beat. His breathing picked up in pace and he felt himself going into an anxiety attack.
"Hikori...?" Came Irei's voice. Hikori turned to see all of his friends standing behind him. "You OK?"
Hikori didn't say a thing but his body made him run. Rin all the way away from his friends, not caring if they were following or not. He ran all the way home to his street, lungs, legs, muscles; his entire body screaming in pain.
As soon as he got home, he threw open the door to see his aunt, uncle, dad, papa and grandpa Aizawa standing in the lounge, all crying or drain from crying. Hikori's eyes let his tears fall as they half closed. He ran inside a d straight into his dad's arms as he cried his heart out.
The next thing he knew was hearing his dad, sob and slip to the ground, his hand in his son's hair and on his back. Hikori tightened his grip on the back of his dad's shirt while the rest of the family fell down with them and joined the group hung.
Hikori's body shook with hurt. First he lost his great uncle and now his grandpa...?! How was any of this fucking fair?! Today was supposed to be a fun day out with his friends. To put his mind off the stress of the person targeting him and his class. To just be a normal teenager for once....
Hikori shoved his face further into his dad's shirt. He couldn't contact his friends, even if he wanted to, as he had left it behind at the arcade. Irei would pick it up for him and give it back to him at school. For now, all Hikori wanted to do was to be with his family. The family that seemed to be getting smaller and smaller.
He knew it was affecting them all a lot; his Aunt and Papa because it was their dad. Kota because he looked up to him and saw him as a dad and for his own dad; Mic was, apart from Aizawa, the only father figure he had in his life as well as his favourite hero since he was young. Hikori couldn't bear the thought of loosing his family but these things happen but it still hurt like fucking shit.
"Dad...?" Hikori sniffed. "Could I stay here for the night...?"
"If course you can, Bud..."
One thing Hikori did appreciate was that it was Saturday. Meaning, he could spend time with his family and not worry about going to school the next day. Hikori didn't have the heart to pull away. None of them did. So they all say in the floor, hugging each other for comfort.
