Hikori woke up with a massive headache. He couldn't quite remember what had happened after seeing Takami loose control and with himself placing electricity on the ground. He tries to sit up and looks down at his hands and finds them bandaged to the point it looks like he's wearing strange looking gloves. He lets out a groan and lays his head back on the pillow. He feels like he's going to throw up. He feels light headed. He feels sick. His arms and hands hurt and itch.
"Aunty?!" He calls out but no one comes.
Instead, a tall-ish male with curly chestnut brown hair and eyes. He also had light brown freckles dusting his cheeks and was wearing the typical nurse/doctor outfit.
"Sorry, kid." He began, voice kind and reassuring. "But Eri-chan was called to help with another class. So I'm here to help you. I'm Katsuma Shimano. My quirk is cell activation, allowing me to heal someone at a cellular level. You hurt yourself pretty badly. What exactly did you do?"
"I was trying to help a classmate with his quirk. It was going outta control so I thought, if I used my brainwashing part of my quirk, then I could stop him from further using his own..."
"Understandable. But you know you put your own safety at risk."
"I know... Could you take these off?" Hikori held up his bandaged hands.
"Not yet, unfortunately. You've got sever lichtenberg scarring on your hands and forearm. The skin is a bit raw where the scars are so we don't want to risk any infection. You'll only have to keep the bandages on for 2 days."
"... Alright. Can I go back to class?"
"Are you feeling OK?"
"I was feeling a little sick but I don't think it's anything I can't sleep off."
"Alright then. If you start to feel unwell further or start to feel worse, then come and see me. I will also need to see you tomorrow so I can change the bandages."
"OK. Thank you, Shimano-sensei." Hikori slipped off the bed and to his feet. He bid goodbye to the adult and headed to the dorms, as he was out for the rest of the afternoon.
Once he got inside the dorms, everyone ran towards him, Irei throwing himself at his boyfriend.
"You Have To Stop Doing Dumb Shit, Hikori!" He cried. "I'm Getting To Worried About Youuuu!"
"Sorry, Rei." Hikori replied, patting his curly hair. He looked up and found Takami's eyes. "Are you OK, Takami?"
"I'm fine. It's nothing that I haven't felt with before..." He replied. Hikori noticed that his fringe was burnt a bit and it had been singed a bit a shorter then what it already was. Usually it would cover his left eye but now it was half the length. "Are you OK, though? You seemed pretty injured."
"Yeah..." Hikori looked down at his hands. "I've got a bit of severe scarring on my hands and forearms but I'll live." Hikori was suddenly smacked upside the back of his head.
"What Were You Thinking, You Fucking Dumbass?!" Kirishima cried. "You scared The Shit Outta Everyone!"
"First of; OW! And secondly, I thought if I brainwashed, Takami, I could get him to stop using his quirk so he wouldn't hurt himself."
"You care to much about us, Kaminari-kun!" Hasukī frowned, as her tail wagged.
"A blessing and a curse I say." Tokoyami sighed as her dark shadow nodded.
"Sorry..."
"Don't be." Iida smiled. "Besides; that was super cool!"
"Yeah!" Adrien said with hype in his words. "You had electricity dancing everywhere! It was coming from your entire body, eyes and even hair! It was like- It reminded me of Goku's Super Saiyan move from Dragonball!"
"You're such a nerd." Kendo laughed.
"I'm not a nerd; I'm just severely educated in the ways of Anime."
"Whatever helps you sleep at night."
"On another note," Yoi began. "How long do you have to keep the bandages on for, Kami?"
"About 2 days. So they'll be off before the dance. Even if they weren't, they'd be covered up by my sleeves so it wouldn't matter but FUCK These Things Are Itchy!" Hikori began to rub at the bandages with ferocity.
"Don't do that, Kami!" Shiro fretted, grabbing the boy's hands gently. "You won't help the healing process like that. You're just going to risk making it worse."
"How about we play a game to take your mind off of it?" Irei questioned. "One everyone can join in with?"
"I think I saw Jenga blocks in the games cupboard!" Tori beamed as she wandered over to grab them.
"Jenga it is!" Ojiro squealed.
The group sat down on the floor, surrounding the coffee table and Tori set up the blocks. One by one, they all grabbed a block and pulled it out before placing it on top to continue the tower. After a while, Takami pulled out a block and caused the tower to topple, the class burst out laughing. Just as they began to set the tower up again, Pinky entered with pizza boxes in her arms."Alright you little monsters!" She laughed. "Come and get it!"
Everyone jumped up and relocated to the kitchen table as their sensei placed the boxes before them. Hikori snagged a piece of pineapple pizza and bit down on it. His eyes lit up and he was immediately overwhelmed with the love for the taste.
He looked to his left and saw Irei pull his cheese pizza away from his mouth, creating a large string of cheese. Across from him, Kendo bit down on a piece, leaving jagged bite marks on the pizza.
Hikori must admit; all of his classmates have become like brothers and sisters to him. After dinner, cleaning up, showers, brushing teeth and changing into their PJs. The clock turned over to 11:00pm as Hikori lay on his back, staring at the ceiling when he raised his hands infront of his face. Tears pricked his eyes. His hands were gonna look horrible with all of his scarring. He felt something move next to him. He looked down and found that Irei had only turned over so now Hikori had a good view of his freckled face.
Snuggling closer to him, Hikori placed a kiss on his lips before closing his eyes and trying to sleep.
