Request: Hi! Uhmm so I'm new to tumblr and I was wondering if I could request a collector x reader but the collector is in their huntsman form like from knock knock knocking on hootys door? I love ur writing!! have a good day/night (also remember to not pressure yourself too much!)
Collector in their Huntsman form... hmmm.
I wish I knew what the whole deal was with that. In the Owl Beast's dreamscape, The Collector was HUGE. He was also gigantic when King first freed him from the tablet. I'm very, very curious to know about the meanings— if any— behind their different appearances.

That being said. My own personal take on it is that the Collector on the right (the Grand Huntsman) is some sort of evil(?) alter ego or adult version of him. I have no idea what to make of the one on the left though.
I'd be interested to hear your theories if you have any! I'll be using Collector and Grand Huntsman interchangeably in these hc's, as they are the same person.

〄 We already know that The Collector is a sinister being. But The Grand Huntsman is both sinister and incredibly cruel. We've witnessed their heartlessness before, when they captured the Owl Beast for sport and burned it's wings off; trapping it forever in the form of a curse. It's clear he has no regard for the lives or feelings of others. The world is their oyster, a mere clump of clay ready for molding in the palm of their hand.
〄 So my heart goes out to the unfortunate person that catches The Grand Huntsman's eye. He isn't very... considerate, to say the least. If you're in a disagreement or are upset by something that they've done, they simply laugh and brush it off as if they've heard a silly joke. To The Huntsman, perhaps it is. A mortal such as yourself amounts to nothing compared to a being of the stars, your discomforts and concerns are often overlooked— simply because The Collector does not care enough to acknowledge them. What they do care about though, is having all your attention to themself.
〄 They don't mind you interacting with the followers of the Titan Trapper clan. In fact, he's been entertaining the thought of whisking you away and keeping you on the cult's island (where he can always keep an eye on you) forever. They're his friends! So it's fine. Just, remember not to get too close with them, alright? The Grand Huntsman is a "tad-bit" possessive. If he notices that any relationships you have with the Trappers are growing too much for his liking— or suspects that you've developed a fondness for one of them and value that person more than you value him— well... The Collector can't have that, now can he? So... they'll just... pull a few strings; poke into your new companion's mind, tug and pick at a couple memories, erase anything that they don't like... all to prevent your little friendship from getting any deeper. But, if they find something in that person's mind that confirms their initial suspicions? Well... he can be merciful about it; confront you about the matter and (demand) ask for an explanation. Their voice maintains it's usual eccentric peppiness, but it's easy to sense the underlying venom behind their tone and smile— a warning that you should choose your next words carefully. And depending on how you respond, then maybe he won't do anything to this insignificant friend of yours.
〄 They're entirely too aware of their partner, in an eerie, disturbing way. But perhaps that's just the omnipresence that comes with a cosmic being such as him. They always knows where you're at, what you're doing, he can even read your thoughts. It's terrifying. They know what you're thinking before you even do, it's like they're in your skin. There is no room for dishonesty. If you're lying, he'll know, and he won't be happy. They greatly enjoy watching your general reactions as well. Wether good or bad, they derive some sort of twisted adoration and amusement from them.
〄 Surprisingly, they don't take any escape attempts personally. In fact, The Collector finds amusement in them. There's a reason that they're called 'The Grand Huntsman'. He just sees your fleeing as another hunt, another game. But they like to humor you, play the cat while you unknowingly play the mouse, draw out the chase, allow you time to run off and think that you've successfully evaded their grasp only to crush your hopeful respite and capture you; transporting you back to the Titan Trappers' island in the blink of an eye. The longest you've managed to evade The Collector was a few weeks, but usually, they're able to track you down in about one to two days. Remember, it's not a matter of if he'll find you, it's a matter of when. You'll know that you've already lost when you hear their cackling growing near. And while they don't get angry at the the escape attempt itself, they do believe that punishment is in order. It's nothing crazy though, just some... precautions; which entails keeping you trapped inside of an isolated, impenetrable dome of magic that allows no entry or exit until they feel that they can trust you again. Each time getting longer than the last. Or, if they're feeling particularly miffed, they'll tear out your dreams and replace them with nightmares where you're completely alone, with nothing but an empty, black void. The nightmares, while only lasting around 10-20 minutes in the real world, feel like an eternity in your dreamscape. The silence and nothingness is maddening, it makes you feel like you're losing your mind. Your time in the void feels so long, that you actually forget you're just dreaming until you wake up— to realize that only half an hour has passed since you've fallen asleep. The nightmares are your least favorite form of punishment.
〄 While The Grand Huntsman is a being of untold celestial power who is capable of granting you anything you so wish, a relationship with him is not ideal. Their sense of affection is warped and they're incredibly selfish. They treat you more like a very special plaything than a partner, but in their mind, very special plaything and partner are synonymous. Do not underestimate the obsessive lengths that they will go to have all of your attention and to keep you forever tethered to their side.
〄 A bit of a wild card, but The Collector in his Grand Huntsman appearance is significantly larger than a witch. That being said, you could probably fit in their hand. They'd adore holding you in their palm as they speak to you. Or if they think you're being disagreeable, they'd just straight up grab you like a doll and dump you in the isolated impenetrable dome of magic for some 'self reflection' time.
