Writing this all in a post-canon timeline where Collector gets adopted by Eda because I said so.

〄 The Collector thinks kisses and couple-esque things are icky (you know, like any youngster would). Super cringe. He does the whole 'blegh'-gag thing whenever he sees Eda smooching Raine, or Luz cozying up next to Amity. Gross! Couple stuff.
〄 That being said, when The Collector develops a crush, they kinda don't... realize it? He doesn't recognize the giddy feeling of hearing your name or the electric feeling of his hand accidentally touching yours as romantic. They chalk everything up to you two having this super deluxe friendship.
〄 Principal Bump organizes a new learning program specifically for The Collector that focuses on morality, ethics, and socialization. The Collector already excels at magic, so normal classes are not applicable in his case. Though maybe a few healing classes would be helpful so that he could get a better grasp on the delicacy of mortal lives and anatomy.
〄 Words can not describe how much they would love their partner. He's faced far too many betrayals in his life, so finding someone who would love him unconditionally, genuinely, and would stick with him through thick and thin— no matter what— is an invaluable treasure to him.
〄 The Collector never really realizes that they have a crush until King points it out to him. He has this sort of revelation where he's like, "OH!... Oh."
〄 They become a lot more skittish around you after this realization. Nothing's changed... yet it feels like everything did, the poor dude's entire world just got flipped upside down. How are they supposed to act around you again? Like they usually do, right? But even the 'usual' just feels so different now. He can't hold your hand anymore without his palms getting clammy, he can't hug you anymore without his body feeling like it's been set aflame, and he can't have a conversation with you anymore because all that comes out of his mouth is gibberish and jumbled words; how could he ever possibly hope to form a coherent thought when you're around? He doesn't know what to do with himself, he's a complete mess!
〄 The more time they spend with you, the more they realize just how deep in they are, and the more they struggle to maintain the false mindset that they're happy with just being best friends. Don't get him wrong, he's incredibly thankful for your friendship, but if he doesn't secure your presence in his every day life forever he might just die.
〄 Eda and Raine do their best to offer The Collector their comfort, though they can't say much about love advice as their own road to where they are now as a couple was rather rocky. Luz and Amity offer love advice, but their ideas of courting are so flowery and cheesy that it makes The Collector cringe and pull his cap down to cover his face.
〄 Regardless, Eda just hopes that there's some sort of confession soon. She's tired of hearing her kid whine and sob into their pillow about their horrendous love life when it's so obvious that their feelings are reciprocated.
