I stepped off the plane, still bummed about not winning.

I saw, Mom, Gina and Eric (Who looked like he had been the one that missed out on a million bucks). 

Gina hugged me tight "I can't breathe" I wheezed

"I really don't care" she whispered. She eventually let me go. "I'm so proud of you uteki"

"It's not like he won" Eric said. We all glared at him "What? It's true".

I put a hand on his shoulder "Eric, I say this in the nicest way possible, but you are a stupid moron who has never placed better than third and is dumber than a sixteen year old, so I suggest you shut up before I sew your lips closed". I smiled sweetly.

Mom laughed but covered it with a cough. Gina didn't even try to hide her laughter. Eric rolled his eyes "Whatever. I'm waiting in the car." he stormed off.

"Come on, we've got pizza at home" Mom said, taking my bag.

Normally I'd insist I could carry my own stuff, but my arm still felt like it was going to fall out of it's socket. 

We got in the car. Eric put on his headphones and listened to his terrible hip hop music.

"Soooooooooooo, you and Scarlett" Gina drawled, grinning like the cheshire cat. 

"There is no 'Me and Scarlett'" I said, using air quotes "If she liked me, she would have told me. I think..."

"Alex, for someone so smart, you sure are not very smart" Mom said to me.

"Was I supposed to not take offence to that?"

"I really don't know. Anyway, did you actually pay attention? She wanted to save you, and only you. Plus, you two are just adorable"

"Yeah" Gina agreed. She pulled out her phone "There are already like, thirteen Scarlex fanfictions on the internet". 

"What the heck is 'Scarlex'?" I asked

"It's your ship name! Keep up! Y'know, like Gwuncan"

"I hate that stupid couple"

"Yeah, me too" 

"I have no idea what you two are talking about, as I haven't watched any of the other seasons" Mom said.

"it's a young person thing, you wouldn't understand" Gina said. I laughed.

It's good to be home. To my mom who is completely oblivious to everything, and my sister who likes me.

A/n, lol, random chapter just to talk about TD ships (I HATE GWUNCAN SO MUCH, AHSGSV). Anyway, I think I'm gonna make a sequel, so stay tuned!
