Chapter 6

I was busy preparing our dinner when I heard some footsteps. I assume that he's already here.

“Hi” I greet as if I didn't know anything.

Marupok right? Sorry, nagmahal lang.

He nod and walked towards me.

I was surprised ng kumuha ito ng dalawang plato, kutasara at tinidor.

Kumuha ako ng plato at nagsandok ng kanin at adobo at nilapag sa mesa.

He put the other paired plate beside him kaya inabot ko ito at umupo kaharap sakanya.

He strated to put some rice on his plate. While me, praying silently.

The moment I'm done praying ay kumuha na ako ng kanin.

We're eating silently when his phone rang.

Hindi ko naman ito pinansin, I assume that it was his fiance so why would I bother him?

I'm just his past time right?

Okay lang, at least sakin parin siya umuuwi.

I thought he would answer it but he just ignore it. Until it reach to 3 calls.

“Are you not going to answer that? Baka importanti 'yan”

I sounded a mad wife. But I know he didn't notice it dahil dali dali itong tumayo at hindi man lang nag paalam.

I jog early in the morning. Tulog pa si Mike ng umalis ako kaya hindi ko na inabala pang gisingin. I just put a sticky notes in the table.

I'll go for a jog.

Yan ang nakasulat sa papel. Why make it long kong alam ko rin naman na hindi niya ako hahanapin.

“Hi miss, you're new here?” the guy asked the jog along with me.

I'm quite familiar with him dahil parang nakita ko na ito hindi ko lang matandaan kong saan.

“No, but it's my first time to jog” I answered.

“That explain why. By the way, you look hot” he said and wink at me.

Bigla tuloy nanayo ang balahibo ko sa ginawa niya.

“Pervert” I hissed.

“Pervert agad? Hindi pwedeng nag compliment lang? Harsh mo naman” he said and touch his chest and acted like he's hurt.

“Just piece of advice. You should not said that to anyone, lalo na pag first meet. Ma to turn off sayo ang babae niyan” I said then smirk.
