Luna was convinced that Roje had no idea where he was going. He just barrelled down hallways, took seemingly random turns, blasting at every stormtrooper that showed their head and continued on, whether he actually hit them or not, he didn't seem to care, leaving the clean up to the three Nexus and Amoya, who followed after.

Roje dived into a room off to the left of their current hallway and a brief flurry of blaster shots sounded out. Luna was about to dive straight in, but a hand pulled her back. 'Probably not a good idea,' Cora told her.

Luna frowned, and looked at the door. It looked fine, but she trusted her lover's instincts. 'Can you and your mom handle this?'

Cora grinned brightly. 'Happy to,' she said, and motioned her mother forward. Cora ran up to the side of the entrance and keyed the door open. Immediately, the opening was filled with a hail of blasterfire - but Cora hadn't gone in, content to stay safe in cover. As the stormtroopers inside paused to see what came of their volley, Cora ignited her lightsaber and dived in. Blasters sounded out, and Luna heard the familiar sound of blaster bolts hitting the blade. Mara moved up stood at the entrance. She didn't go in, instead extended her arms out. Luna wasn't sure what she was doing, but she heard cries come from within the room. Luna risked edging up to the side of the entrance, peaking round to look in, blaster at the ready. It took her a few moments to understand the chaos, but she didn't really need to: Cora has the situation well in hand. Literally - she was using one stormtrooper as a shield, having twisted an arm behind their back and using that as leverage to keep them in front of her as she charged at individual stormtroopers, as a half dozen others were either lying unconscious on the floor or pinned to the walls, held up by invisible hands. Luna took careful aim at those, shooting them with stunning bolts so that Mara could shift her concentration on those still fighting, still trying to shoot at her daughter. Luna added her own blaster bolts into the mix, though as the guards kept moving, trying to evade Cora's attacks while trying to get in a position to shoot around the human shield, Luna had difficulty landing a shot. She could easily hit an enemy TIE flying at thousands of kilometres per hour, kilometres away, just by operating on instinct and finely honed skill, but she was not so skilled at land-based combat, and for a moment she wished she had Vix and Twitch with her. It was a short-lived wish, as the Cora made short work of the guards, batting their shots away with her blade, using the hilt as a melee weapon in itself, directing the hard durasteel into weak spots, with sharp jabs to their throats evidently being one of her favourite moves. As the last of the guards fell to their collective efforts, Amoya snuck in and knelt beside a prone Roje, who was nursing his temple.

'One of the bastards got a lucky hit off,' he grumbled to no one in particular.

Amoya snorted, then offered him her hand, which he took. 'Serves you right for rushing off like a stupid Tooka.'

Roje bristled. 'I. Am. Not!'

'Are too,' Amoya let go of his hand and Roje fell back on to the floor.

'Okay, that's enough, kids,' Luna stepped into the room, taking in her surroundings. It looked a lot like all of the other rooms they had passed. She saw no reason why Roje would have chosen this one, and said as much.

'I'm not a kid. We're eighteen,' Roje puffed up his chest, as if that gave him an air of maturity, but then deflated as he add, 'I, uh, got turned around,' he said sheepishly. Amoya burst out laughing.

Luna looked sideways at Cora, rolling her eyes. 'Okay. Time to find out where we are.'

'No need,' Amoya piped up. Everyone turned to look at her. 'While that halfwit went running off, I took a moment to look at the map. Now let me think,' she tapped her mouth and looked away, pensively.

'We have incoming,' Mara said from the door. She held out a hand and Cora's lightsaber - or rather, Mara's lightsaber - flew into her hand. She swept it round in front of her as its blade ignited, batting away blaster bolts from stormtroopers out of Luna's line of sight. Luna took a moment to check her commlink, as Cora checked for any useful equipment on the unconscious stormtroopers. It was dead, which meant that the other Nexus would shift to plan B. She thought back, trying to figure out how long since the alarm had gone off, figuring that they would have jammed the signal at around the same time. Ten minutes, perhaps a little more. That didn't give them much time. 'Anything useful?' she asked Cora, who shook her head.

'Grenades, extra blasters,' she replied. 'Got a nice grappling bracer, but I don't see how that'll be useful now.'

Luna had noticed the white plastoid bracer on her left forearm, but hadn't realised what it was. Good tech to have, though, and she filed it away in her mental inventory for later. She turned to Amoya. 'Any idea where we are?'

'Uh huh,' the younger woman said. 'We overshot. We need to head back up where we came-'

'Not happening,' Mara put in, ducking inside, just briefly to avoid a wave of blasterfire.

'Welll,' Amoya tapped a finger to her philtrum. We could head left, take the first right. It's the long way round, but we'll get there.'

'That'll have to do, but we need to get there quickly,' Luna stepped up to the door, tried to poke her head out but quickly dived back in. Roughly ten metres down the right hand pathway was completely blocked with stormtroopers. Too many to tangle with, and it could take too long just trying to escape. 'Mara, head out. We need cover.'

'Gee, thanks,' Mara said sarcastically, but she headed out anyway, the lightsaber carving up the air in front of her as it batted blaster shots out of the air, sending them into the walls beside her.

'Cora,' Luna turned to her girlfriend. 'How accurate can you move small objects?'

Cora frowned at her, not quite on the same wavelength yet, though her face cleared up as Luna plucked a thermal detonator from Cora's utility belt. 'I can handle that.'

'I need it up on the ceiling,' Luna told her, moving to stand by the open door and arming the grenade, holding it out in her open palm. Luna watched as the grenade floated into the air, then out the door, past Mara, down the hallway to the amassed stormtroopers, then floating up to nestly against the ceiling. 'Get down!' Cora yelled, and a second later the ground shook with the explosion. Even though they were all protected from the blast by a thick durasteel wall, Luna could still feel the intense heat prickle her skin. 'Let's go!' she shouted, and suited actions to words, bolting out the room and heading to the left, then taking the first right. There, she paused, waiting for the others to catch up to her. Inching her face back out into the hallway, Luna could see that half of the ceiling had collapsed between them and the guards. Cora and Roje were sending covering fire into the gaps where stormtroopers were visible, though none of the shots hit, as far as she could see. As they group formed up in the relative safety of the new, intact, hallway, Luna motioned for Amoya to take the lead.

It was a long, winding route, but one that luckily had very few stormtroopers, never in any numbers that really threatened them, and they were quickly overwhelmed. What worried Luna more, though, was the fact that they were leaving a trail of dead and unconscious bodies behind them. If they were reported, anyone with that information would easily be able to deduce where they were headed.

Overhead, the alarms still blared.
