"Okay okay, but have you even tried it?" Ski laughed as he tried to hand me a French fry with vanilla ice cream on it.

"Stop it your gonna make me throw up," I gagged as I pushed his hand away from me.

"It's just Ice cream."

"It smells like- ugh" I gagged at the smell. I can't stand the smell of milk or anything in it. That's one thing about being pregnant that I hate. I used to love ice cream.

He chuckled and pulled away from the drive through. "Alright alright, my bad. Which way is the doctors office. You know imma get lost I'm still figuring out the layout out here. I'm from Florida."

"I could tell, it shows," I joked. "Just turn left right here and keep going straight."

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"You got the accent and the slang that's all," I shrugged as I dipped my chicken nugget it the sweet and sour sauce from McDonald's.

He chuckled, "so where's your boyfriend? Why doesn't he take you to your appointments?"

"I don't have one," I shrugged. "I don't need one."

"So it was like a sneaky link gone bad?" He asked.

"No."

"So-"

"The dad isn't in the picture he's in jail," I stated.

Ski just looked ahead at the road, not saying anything else.

"Sorry I wasn't trying to-"

"It's cool don't worry about it," I sighed.

I don't mean to get all mad but I hate talking about Andrew. There's no one I actually hate besides him. And my mother.

This whole situation just triggers me.

For the rest of the drive we speak aside from me giving him directions to the location.

"Thank you for the ride," I smiled and grabbed my backpack from the back seat.

"No problem," he smiled at me. "I'll see you at the game."

"You too, and good luck," I smiled back before getting out of the car, walking into the building.

"Do you want to know the gender today?" Dr. Atavi asked me.

"Uhm yes please," I answered quickly.

"Alright, it's looking like a baby boy." She smiled at me.

My eyes teared up. "Wait for real!"

"Yes ma'am, you see this right here," she moved the mouse around on the computer screen, "this is his penis."

I laughed, "wow..."

"Do you want any pictures today?"

"Yes, please," I answered as I continued looking at the screen.

She printed me out three pictures and gave me refills for my vitamins and medicines I needed to take and I was sent on my way.

I tossed the grocery bags on the floor along with the poster board before closing and locking my front door. I kicked off my vans and left them by the door.

That bus ride home was dreadful.

I walked into the kitchen and grabbed myself a water bottle, chugging it down before throwing it in the trash.

I walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower water and stripped myself naked.

My baby bump was starting to show, finally. I liked it. I rubbed my belly, feeling my son kick around.

After a few more minutes of examining my stomach I got into the shower, quickly washing up. I ran some conditioner through my hair and brushed it out so my curls could redry in a cuter way.

After ten minutes I was done, so I got out and wrapped myself up in a towel.

I walked into my room and went straight to my dresser, putting on some lotion and deodorant.

I then walked to my closet and picked out something cute to wear.

I picked out a plain white tube top with some gray sweatpants and my white air forces. I wore a gold locket chain that my grandfather gave me before he passed and some gold hoop earrings.

I sprayed some japenese cherry blossom perfume. I filled in my eyebrows a little bit and added some lashes and gloss. To top everything off I swooped my edges.

I felt like I looked pretty good and my baby bump was on full display. Even though it wasn't that big.

I walked into the living room, taking the supplies out of the bag that I bought to make a sign for Ski's basketball game.

I spread everything out on the living room floor and got to work.

After about twenty minutes the poster was complete so I texted a friend from school, Kaliyah, to see how her poster was coming.

She and I were texting while I was on the bus home and she's making a poster for her boyfriend that's also on the basketball team.

Ski and I are just friends but I just want to show him some support since he doesn't know anyone else.
