I'll admit I'm attracted to Liv, but at first I wasn't going to act on it because well... she's pregnant and clearly there's some baby daddy drama behind all that that she won't talk about.

I just don't to have to smack her baby daddy.

But at practice a few of the guys were talking about her, how they wanted her. And I can't let that happen. So I just have to make my move now that I have her attention.

I have to keep her away from those lame ass niggas because they can't take care of her like I can.

I got inside of the car and put on my seatbelt, seeing Liv already had hers on. "So keep it real with me, what's up with you and the baby daddy?"

Her face started to turn red and her eyes teared up, "he's in jail.. like I said."

"For how long?"

"A good time."

"So you still feelin him or?" I just need to know before I just go into this situation blind. "Like wassup with y'all?"

"Look don't tell anyone what I'm bout to tell you," she looked away from me. "Uhm, my stepdad raped me and my mom got suspicious because she said I was getting thick so she made me take like eight pregnancy tests. They came back positive but I didn't even know I was pregnant. So I told her what happened and she didn't believe me, she threw me out."

I turned around and sat back in my seat. I definitely wasn't expecting her to say all that.

I thought that maybe she'd say he was dealing drugs or something.

"So where are you staying at now?" I asked out of curiosity.

"I have my own place," she mumbled as she looked out the window, watching the crowd of people around us.

I put my car in reverse and backed out do the parking spot before leaving the school.

It was quiet for a minute or two before she spoke again, "could you actually just take me home? Please?"

I sighed, "I'm sorry I wasn't- yeah I'll take you home. What's the address?"

I pulled out my phone and handed it to her so she could type her address in. She typed it and handed it back to me.

I sat my phone on my lap, following the navigation to a location five minutes away.

When we arrived at her apartment complex, I parked near her building and turned off my car.

She looked away from me, "well thank you for inviting me, and for the ride."

"Yeah it's no problem," I looked at her hoping she would look back at me but she didn't.

"I'll uh- see you on Monday," she said before opening her door and quickly leaving my car, closing the door behind her.

As she walked towards the building I noticed that an older white guy approached her. He was wearing a suit and black sunglasses.

I opened my door getting out of my car and walking over to them.

"You have a court date" He handed her a yellow envelope along with this device for her to sign.

She looked at him, "for what?"

"I don't know, I'm just the messenger," he sighed.

She signed the device and handed it back to him before quickly opening up the envelope.

"Un-fucking-believable. Are you actually joking right now," she spat.

"Everything okay?" I asked.

She sighed and put the papers back into the envelope, "yeah it's fine."

"Well let me just walk you to your door, and I'll get going."

She nodded her and head before she began walking along the sidewalk. I followed behind her as she walked up one flight of stairs and lead me to the door I'm guessing is hers. Apartment 7.

She used her keys to unlock the door and opened it, walking in. I walked in behind her and she closed the door.

"I mean you can stay and hang out if you want but I don't really have any furniture so there's no one to sit," she chuckled.

I laughed, "it's fine by me. Do you have anything to eat? I'm starved after that game."

"I can make something," she offered.

I nodded my head in agreement and she walked off to the kitchen, opening the fridge.
